The Golden Cross Hotel

About
The pub is the former Golden Cross Hotel, which was rebuilt in 1932 on the site of one of Bromsgrove's oldest coaching inns of the same name. We come recommended by the CAMRA Good Beer Guide and have a large selection of ever changing ales from both the local area and further afield. We are open from 8am every day for breakfast, serving food all the way through until 11pm.

Beyond doubt great value as with all Weatherspoons. First attempt at breakfast was fast but returned because it was cold. Not rocket science to see that cold plates have something to do with this and food is pre-cooked and not successfully kept hot. However, top...More

Visited here last week on the way to Warwick Racecourse. No parking outside but small car park around the corner off Windsor Street and a one minute walk thereafter. At time of my visit, it was quite quiet; Usual collection of grannies and grandads having...More

This is one fantastic pub! Great value food, fantastic service and one awesome selection of real ale that changes often. I cant recommend this place enough, easily the best pub in Bromsgrove.

Stopped here for a few drinks on a Saturday evening. The rear garden is sunny and there's plenty of seating. The flowers and plants are well cared for and made the place look cheerful. Plenty of choice for beers being a Wetherspoons.

This is not a review of the pub itself, only a review of the useless door men that are there. Trouble was brewing between a group of people, it was obvious that they were coked up-as are the majority of men in there. One of...More
