Fantastic Sunday lunch for a birthday celebration. Special mention for the roast beef and delicious roast veg- We are lucky to have this great place in Bromsgrove!

Pre booked as a christmas treat for the family and expected it to be busy. We were seated downstairs in the bar area which was very noisy. The food was nothing special and portions were small. One of our group lives in London & remarked...More

We popped into here for a late Sunday lunch on my wife’s birthday as wanted to try somewhere new and she’d heard good reports. We found the staff were really friendly and helpful. The starter with scallops and black pudding was excellent. With the main...More

Five of us girlfriends had our Christmas meet up here last night: it was just perfect. Lovely meal on piping hot plates, attentive service and perfect surroundings and lighting. This really is a treasure of a place for Bromsgrove, tucked under the church. As well...More

I thought the meal was tasty, but insubstantial. No roast potatoes with a Christmas meal? Poor value for the assembled twenty diners. The wine was extremely expensive. My main complaint was the coffee. Americano it was not. Either the baristas need training, or more likely...More

We ate here early Monday evening and it was very quiet. People appeared to be drinking but not eating. Despite the lack of atmosphere it was a lovely evening. The service was efficient and friendly. The food delicious! I could have eaten the scallops again......More

We visited the wine rooms on Friday for lunch, in fact we went there last Friday as well! It’s just lovely, relaxed but efficient service, fantastic food and great cocktails!

We love coming here for Sunday lunch. A bit pricier than your average Sunday car very, but you get what you pay for. The meat is always lovely and tender and accompaniments are plentiful. Service is always outstanding as well.

Our first visit was for a mid-week lunch and very impressive it was. I had the minute steak followed by Eton mess both nicely cooked and presented. Service was good, both efficient and friendly and we liked the general ambience, decor and layout of the...More
