Good and cheap basic food. Nothing spectacular, but definitely big enough plates to get filled up after a long day in the water. Daily specials are good deals..

This restaurant is really nice and quiet
The food was good and the quantities are also good
The service wasn't perfect like always in peru ...
But in general it's a nice place and not too expensive

El Tranqui is run by an eponymous man that runs food out of the kitchen, takes your order, and brings the beer. His demeanor ranges from annoyed to ambivalent, and having eaten there more than once, I rarely felt appreciated as a client.
Lobitos is a wonderful beach, but suffers from having limited food choices. Tranqui´s offers a 10 sole menu, which is pretty expensive by menu standards, and a personal plate of ceviche for 20 soles. WAY overpriced for what you´re getting. It´s decent Peruvian food, marked up about 200%.
