We hoped to come here for dinner after visiting last year and seeing the Phoenix Sky Line On Our Last Day :( Unfortunately the Phoenix is not open for dinner due to their upcoming renovations.....however it is very much open for breakfast, lunch 13:00-19:00 and...drinks. We were greeted by excellent staff, amazing service and very reasonably priced lunch offerings! I had a beautiful tortilla wrap followed by beautiful fruit pastry tarts compliments of the chef. We will certainly be back here another evening for a couple of glasses of wine with one of the best views in skiathos 😍 P.S there is also a beautiful pool for a dip to cool off!More

Nice view but if you go walking then you need 19 minutes to relax ! When you read first on the area restaurant , you have great expectations ! Nice view , medium service and more medium flavors ! Besides there is also the noise...of the main road !More

Hello Mr. You have to be ashamed of yourself that you write lies about the restaurant by the time that I have closed it. Your lies is even bigger when you mentioned that you need 19 minutes to relax when we have spent 250.000 euros...More

I dropped in today, hoping to have lunch. The main restaurant is, however, closed for refurbishment until June 2020. From June 2019, there are plans to have a wine bar with a smaller menu. It is such a beautiful location, I look forward to returning...next yearMore

We were recommended the Phoenix by members of the TripAdvisor Skiathos forum when I asked for a venue for a meal on our wedding anniversary. We were there in September, so I apologise profusely for only getting round to reviewing it now! I don't remember...exactly where it is on the road but it's next to (and actually part of) a nice accommodation complex. If you find the little funicular that trundles up the hill, you're there pretty much. There's a sign next to it with the restaurant's name on but it's not huge and you will need to be looking out for it! I will state first of all that we booked in advance by e-mail. I mentioned in my e-mail that it was our wedding anniversary and could we have a nice table with a view. To be honest there are not a lot of tables anyway but sure enough we were given pride of place right at the front with amazing views out to see, not to mention of the funicular and also a telescope (which is decorative, I asked). The only issue was the wasps, and they abate as soon as the sun goes down. We were given a spray to fire at them before then, although I will say it's really hard to hit a moving target with it! 😂 We had a full 3-course meal and it was esquisite! I had goat's cheese for a starter, belly pork & mustard mash for my main, and chocolate brownie & ice cream for dessert. Everything was presented so beautifully that we felt like we truly were fine dining. The goat's cheese was served with strawberries which I've never seen or heard of before but it was a fantastic combination! For our anniversary we were also given a complementary glass of homemade prosecco each, which was a lovely touch (and most delectable). We were treated with such kindness, I mean we really felt like royalty. We really felt like the staff genuinely cared about us. It made our anniversary meal very special. Next time we come to Skiathos we will definitely be making a booking at the Phoenix, it was truly the highlight of our stay, and it is an absolute gem in the crown of Skiathos.More

Skiathos is well blessed with so many wonderful dining options - superb food in a good number of Tavernas but the absolute best is Phoenix Skyline at Villa Alexis, Megali Ammos. It ticks so many boxes, location - view over the Bay, then you feel...so relaxed when you sit at the tables, gentle background music and although not an extensive menu, goodness, the choice is mouth watering. Sensible too, because Phoenix is not a huge establishment and all dishes are cooked to order by Head Chef Ande and his Assistant, Chris. A first class combination - who take great pride in producing dishes that have amazing flavours and ingredients -wonderful. Believe me, Michelin quality without any doubt. Alkis, Manager/Owner is so helpful in advising of any choices and he will explain about the wonderful dishes. and wines - the Red House wine, from Alkis's own Vines is very very potent.!! A big surprise, such reasonable prices, not at all expensive - think about E 24 for superb Fillet steak - have seen it listed as E 40 on another menu. There is so much to praise - it is a very pleasurable dining experience and well worth making a reservation. Even if passing, going up in the funicular to suss the place out, enjoy a drink from the bar if earlier than when meals are served - maybe you could drop lucky and they have a free table, if not, you can book there and then for a future day. Many compliments to Alkis, his Assistant Waiter and of course Head Chef Ande and Chris as well. Phoenix is situated way above Megali Ammos Bay alongside the Villa Alexis swimming Pool. A new Funicular Lift takes you up from the road. It is situated just past My Ithaki if you are heading from town in the direction of Koukanaries. Bus Stop 6 is outside. Bon Appetit - and remember the best thing to make for your dinner is A Reservation!!More

The food here was sublime. My partner and I both had mushrooms to start which were lovely followed by the fillet steak which we asked to be cooked rare and it was cooked to perfection. We also both decided to get the chocolate brownie for...dessert which was incredible. We will definitely be eating here again before we go home. The views were beautiful and the very modern lift was a great addition.More

There is little more that I can say that I have not reported before. Our two most recent visits simply reconfirm previous experiences at this gem of a place. Alkis and his crew each contribute to the best dining on Skiathos. From reception at this...venue through tableware, service, wine and quality ingredients cooked to perfection, the whole event adds tremendously to our island holidays. A very sincere thankyou.More

Although it's hard to find a really bad meal in skiathos and there are some lovely restaurants but phoenix skyline is something else completely out of the league to all others on this island. I've visited this restaurant 4 times over this summer and each...time the food was excellent the service was excellent and the atmosphere was excellent. This really is a must visit whilst on your holidays but don't forget to book, to not cause disappointment.More

WOW! what an amazing restaurant. We were looked after by the owner who went out of his way to talk about the creation of the dishes on the menu as well as the wines he selects for the menu. Don’t believe any reports about the...restaurant not accepting credit cards. Of course they do! The restaurant is set in the hills overlooking the sea and is so romantic and intimate. If you get the chance, book a table. But you will have to book in advance because it is very popular.More

I have no idea. Ive only eaten there. If it was me I wouldn’t have a wedding reception there unless it was a small party. It would be a little lovely setting but I’m not sure it would be suitable for a wedding
