Place for Burgers

If they have the Impossible Burger on the menu, order it! Otherwise this is just a simple fast food place with burgers and fries and you probably want to take your food to go.

The hamburger and flies were the same as in the USA. wow I need 100 words. what more can I say. the neighborhood was not one to walk alone. staff from hotel offered to walk with me.

Poor Burger Patty

I do enjoy the overall meal though the burger patty is poor in quality. I do like the sauces and other accompaniments. Service has improved since day one so they get three stars.

I am vegetarian and ordered the vegetarian deluxe. I ate it when I got home and could not even finish it. Opening the package alone, to eat the fries while they were still hot, was horrible as the oil smelled so badly. The burger was even worse. I could not finish it because the oil they used. I ended up vomiting as a result of how this meal was made. As a vegetarian, one struggles to find fast food places to have a safely cooked meal. I prefer vegetarian offers from halal restaurants because you trust how they make the food. It's unfortunate that this was not the case here.

Literally went for a quick snack today(22 June) and thought I'd try their chicken pieces. Thought there was a nice deal - R30 for one chicken piece and small fries.... my order was 335....... we waited for this order, could see there was a small commotion about it. Finally, it was done, and rushed home to eat. Opened up my package to see.. this piece of chicken..and no chips!!!! Look at this piece of chicken.. it was dry and there is clearly no meat!. I paid R30 for one bite of chicken?! It's up to the person packing the order to check these things! Feel ripped off

This BK needs help

Placing an order here can be chaotic at the best of times. On a Saturday night, one gets the impression that they are understaffed. This Burger King certainly does not meet the standards in terms of service delivery as I have become accustomed to in the Middle East, Europe and the USA. Burger King Parent company should help this franchise holder getting it right.

Fast food should be just that. Not so at BK Cavendish. I arrived at just before 12 noon which is when u expect most folk to want a chow. BK had one grumpy till operator. There service is frequently slow and way below other BK standards. So if u a BK fan expect to be disappointed. Rather choose one of the other places nearby.

Burger King vs The Rest

Burger King - Claremont Still searching - And I still haven't found what I am looking for (U2) Burger King vs The Rest Pound for pound (see what I did, Mr Black) the whopper is a heavy weight fighting in a fly weight division. Just no contest. Four times the punch / size of all the other pretenders (Mac and Steers) inclusive. Maybe not quite the complete package yet, but with a little more refinement and gym time (garnishing and fries need some work) could clinch the fast food Burger belt in all divisions. The Burger King crew have no doubt been to training camp and are far more proficient and better trained than the competition. They deliver swiftly and are much lighter on their feet. Dance like a butterfly, sting like a bee. They say. In Summary - Burger King Claremont serves up Burgers that are streets ahead of their competition, both in quantity and in quality of meals served.The burger patty is tasty, the sesame seed buns crispy and the garnish is fresh The pour your own and as much as you want soda concept is both time efficient plus your kids and your dentist's all out fantasy. Pepsi and 7up by the cup full. At least this way you get a full cup instead of the 3/4 cup of ice with a drop of soda rip off. Well worth a visit if you into the fast food scene (and have no issues with your cholesterol) or really need a speedy drop in and go type of meal. Value for money and to reiterate, a kids soda haven. Unlimited Soda Attraction

Burger King at the Food Court of Cavendish Square Shopping Mall is a convenient place for a sit down fast food meal. After a game of squash, the kids certainly enjoy the unlimited soda on offer. On more than one occasion, they ran out of toys for the kiddies meal. Service is not bad and I think it is more of a novelty to eat there than anything else. Their burgers takes some time to acquire a taste for. Their shakes and tasty treats is definitely a worthwhile treat.

Bad Food Experience at Burger King Malanshof

March 2014 is my Moms birthday and Burger King had just arrived in SA. I begged my Mom to please take me to BK for her bday. we stood in a queue for over two hours to place an order and wow the food did not disappoint. Fast forward to 17 September 2015 and as a treat my aunt said lets stop over at Bk and get a meal ‪#‎BurgerKing‬ that was the worst possible meal I have ever had!!! The fries were so coated in salt that my tongue was numb, the burger had absolutely no taste whatsoever in fact it was GROSS with a slimy feel on the tongue. No we will not be back for a poisoning

The food was average. There are other fast food places whose burgers are more tasty than Burger King .... although my son differs from my opinion. So I guess, it is a case of personal taste.
