Café Nood is a European style coffee shop that has been open for 9 years. The owners Margo & Anton Dekker have created a wonderful atmosphere by including gallery space for local artists to exhibit on a three-monthly cycle. Café Nood offers an extensive Breakfast menu from 7am to 12pm Monday’s to Friday’s the Lunch menu has a wonderful variety of freshly prepared meals with quality ingredients delivered daily, from wholesome Salads, Ciabatta’s, Wraps & delicious Pastas. On Saturdays from 8am to 1pm they have a lovely Brunch Menu.

This cafe style restaurant is a must for any of my friends and family. I also exhibit here whenever I get the chance as it is an ideal venue being bright and cosy and the owner is herself a talented watercolourist. My teenage grandchildren always find something they enjoy on the vegan gluten free menu. It opens early so that breakfast is a must and I love the way they make the coffee.

This is a great place for a getting a quick bite in your busy day. Friendly quick service with quick food delivery.
The venue is bright and airy, seating is available indoors and outdoors.
The menu is varied to cater for a wide variety of tastes, the food is of an excellent standard and well presented
The cakes and treats are a real temptation and a delicious spoil.
On sight supervision and involvement from the owners.
A special feature are the original artworks that Margo exhibits for artists, always something new and interesting.
Paintings and crafts for sale. A portion of the sale price goes to a charity.
All round a very friendly, happy place and value for money.

Fantastic cakes, desserts and yummy breakfasts. lovely atmosphere just below The Quadrant lifestyle apartments in Upper Claremont. Staff very friendly and engaging. We loved this place so much we went there everyday.

having had to visit the Kingsbury across the road, we and our dog Xena spend a few times at Cafe Nood. They love dogs, the service excellent and the food great. Will certainly be back.

Down a side street away from the main road buzz, near the library. The menu is complete and offers a reasonable variety. We had Butter Chicken which was delicious with a rich creamy sauce. Coffee was good. They also offer a good range of home made cakes, biscuits and pastries. Parking is available nearby buy is charged for.

Situated next door to Kingsbury hospital this cafe was a wonderful surprise. The coffee is really good, they have an excellent selection of baked cakes and treats that I will definately try in the future and our lunch (we chose the butter chicken with almonds and coriander R85 was delicious and very flavorful. The only thing missing was a small bit of rice to soak up the delicious gravy
They did serve naan bread with the meal though which was great . I would highly recommend a visit to this cafe in the future

Great selection and price of food and drinks. We went there a few times and the staff were always friendly and everything tasted great. The free Wifi worked every time, which was a nice change from our hotel.

fabulous food and service! Donald served me before and was so good and friendly that I went back. He was accommodating, welcomed me back. He remembered me. Food was fresh and wholesome. Specials were delicious!

My husband and I took our family for breakfast and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I love the variety of health breads available. I had the Eggs Benedict on sourdough which was amazing. One of the best Hollandaise sauces I've ever had. Just a pity we didn't get to the dessert counter in time, but we'll definitely be back for that.

Only found out about the coffee shop due to a visit to the Kingsbury Hospital. The owners are delightful, staff very friendly and food delicious, As for the selection of cakes and pastries - to die for. Will definitely be visiting the shop on a regular basis.

We had some medical treatment done nearby and visited this lovely cafe six times in ten days. We highly recommend it because of the great service (which all staff members provided) and the perfect chai lattes!

I had lunch here with my cousin the other day. I had not visited the place for over a year. I am pleased to report that:
-the staff is still very friendly and the service still good
- the food is still good and reasonably priced
- it is still very popular.

Wow what a convenient location offering a fabulous choice of meals with impeccable service. I visited Nood cafe while staying at the Quadrant apartments and met friends there three times. Lively atmosphere and reasonable prices too.
