We just had dinner here. Because I have celiac disease, I have to eat strictly gluten free. Yesterday we were at the bakery "Off the gluten free path" and the owner told us, that they deliver gluten free buns to the Hudsons in Claremont. The waitress knew that and so i ordered the burger "The Shroom" and the "Cheerleader Salad". My boyfriend had the sirloin steak. We waited a little long, but in the end it was worth it. We both were very happy with the meals, although the steak was a little cold. Also the burger bun was very sweet and the patty scraggy. But the taste was really fine. The salad combo was amazing!!!

Best services, best food, best people

I can absolutely recommend Hudsons. They atmosphere was amazing and the food was great, but the service was EXCELLENT. I organised a bachelorette there and they went through so much effort and even printed personalized menu’s for the evening for our table. Our waitress, Ricci, was always available and made sure that everything went accordingly and that the food and drinks were ready in a flash. Will definitely be making a stop there soon again.

We got UberEats from here and received two delicious vegan burgers. We had trouble with the delivery guy but the staff made the effort to get another uber to deliver the food to us which was incredibly helpful and above the call of duty. A great, friendly restaurant.

What a shambles, waiters were non existent, the wrong drinks arrived at the table, we sent them back, we were about to leave because we had waited another 25 minutes for them to be changed. Waiter never came to take our food order we had to go find her. When the food came we weren’t given napkins or cutlery we had to go find them ourselves. Absolute shambles of a place. Avoid

Where not to get drinks in Cape town

The drinks were watered down, and when I informed the manager, he was reluctant to resolve the issue. Most cocktails came in half full, and this was not on special, so I was expecting better drinks and service. Overall, the experience was a 3/10 because even the service was poor.

Food good but service was appaulling

this is a third time i have been there and each time the service is shocking. you wait ages for a drink, they dont offer to to bring you another drink when your glass is empty. one of our started never arrived. Food took ages (as we watched so many UberEats orders going out the door). Last time I am going there.

We went there for the Monday burger special on veggie burgers. Nice big space, with vibey atmosphere. Very young crowd. The service was very friendly and efficient. Interesting vegetarian burgers to try. Very tasty. With the burger special, it came up a good deal. On normal days, I would find it a bit expensive.

Had a such a beautiful day man. Katrina (Kat) gave us the perfect drinks and food recommendations. Her pizza options of the Rockstar and Grammy were 10/10. Would definitely come back for her. Vibes and View were giving as well today. Overall 10/10

Paid for Two Order (One becuae the App had a glitch) and only received One.

Ordered a take away. Unfortunately, maybe because I was using UK based credit card, every time I tried to order it said card rejected.... When I eventually managed (my third card!) I ended up replicating an order. I immediately phoned the Restaurant and spoke to Joshua who was the duty manager. They confirmed the duplication had been cancelled. Next day I saw three seperate transactions on my 3 different cards. I immediately contacted the Restaurant and was pretty much brushed aside. Uber Eats said that they had charged me because Hudsons had already started preparing the order (Two Burgers!! and all the trimmings). SO I was charged for two complete meals (£28) but only one was delivered. So I feel hard done by. Paid for two melas because their app couldnt hnadle the transaction and had the gall to hide behind the fact the second order had already started to be prepared - in a Burger Shack! Like What! SO Tourists..be very careful here. As for the burger.. Naaah - very ordinary and Fried Onions were very oily. Burgers had soggy bottoms..but that I guess was due to being transported 1 mile in a motorbike. You get what you pay for. Unfortunately - NOT in My Case!

The burger was really good but the fries were dry and the milkshake was horrible, our waitress was nice, i just wish she was more optamistic, but overall decent expierience.

Had a great burger nice and juicy and cooked how I like them even my wife that likes all her meet over cooked loved them Fries was crispy and hot and I will be coming back
