One thing about a chain coffee shop, you know what to expect. The service is friendly and welcoming, the coffee rather average. Quite a bit of construction in the car park but it looks like it will be soon completed. Convenient place for me to meet. The limited food menu is good.

Went there for a catch up with old friends. Everything was clean and staff was friendly. You order 1st at the counter and collect at the counter but there is place for you to sit. Staff was friendly and efficient and went out of their way to make our experience enjoyable going as far to heat up our pastries.

Great team in muizenberg great coffee before and after surfing.
Nice place for a quick coffee or my favorite, mocha with a grilled ham and cheese. Well make a frequent visit. Thanks guys

I do think that this is normally a good business. The staff are ok given the good prices. They do not have great service skills though. This past week patrons had to put up with dust and noise caused by demolition next door. This was during daytime trade and the noise was extreme, jackhammer extreme. You could barely hear the next person speak and the air was dusty. I complained ot the manager and altough he listeded to me and pretended that he would do something, nothing changed. The surprised look on his face told me that he did not think that this was a problem. I only write this online because he did not take client comfort and service seriously and neither does the centre management team. I would never like to cause harm to any small business person but this action of Vida Caffe was extremely harmful and in poor taste. I only ask that action is taken to prevent the same behaviour in future.
