Sometimes one's choice of items on a menu hit a sweet spot, and we got lucky here: the carrot and baby marrow fritters were special, so was the Eggs Benedict with bacon on the side. Everything made a little more of a challenge as a...result of that great South African experience, a blackout, that is here called "load shedding", but is nonetheless a loss of electricity that is elsewhere known as a blackout. But the challenge was ably met, and dispatched.More

The perfect light lunch. Best salad ever. Chicken pie and quiche perfect. Excellent service. Very reasonably priced. Voted by my tour group as best meal of our trip.

We had a lovely full breakfast at the Post House while traveling back home. What friendly and efficient service we received. The sourdough bread was to die for. The deli was also well stocked with delicious things

I visited the Post House today during my trip to the area and am delighted to see that the restaurant is back under the original management. A new menu with a considerable offering of vegan dishes and the same friendly hospitality that I encountered during...my first visit here. I cannot recommend the Post House enough, Lesley, Sinead and the team make you feel welcome from the moment you enter the premises and serve delicious food with a smile. There is also a shop that gives you the opportunity to take some delicacies home with you.More

This was a pleasant surprise for weary travellers needing lunch. Frankly anything would have been fine but from the minute we walked in, we knew this was special. Great ambience, friendly service, good interaction and the best food we had been served in a few...days driving off the beaten track on our way back to Cape Town. Home cooked food - fresh and tasty - and something for everyone. Impressive!More
