We drove in for lunch from our farmstay, and picked Kanna Kombuis based on the google reviews. While not all menu items were available – I'd wanted to try the skilpadjies and my husband had wanted pizza with avo, our server was nonetheless friendly and...dealt with the situation gracefully. I opted for the a steak with chicken wings, and the meal was absolutely delicious - chicken wings were among the best I've ever eaten, the meat simply melted off the bone. My mom had a filled chicken breast which had lovely butternut in it.More

Service

We stopped over on Saturday morning for breakfast. Staff only greeted us after been seated for 10 minutes. Not even an acknowledgment that we were seated . Other customers who arrived after us were then served first. After ordering breakfast we waited another 25 minutes...for a simple order which never arrived. Appalling service. Will never again support this venue.More

Divine food

Our favorite restaurant in Ladismith. Very nice atmosphere and convenient location for travelers. Lovely and helpful staff. The food is absolutely delicious and very affordable. I would definitely recommend this place to everybody.

BEAUTIFUL FRESH PRODUCE

I love to stop at the Kanna Kombuis for the fresh produce they sell .I buy the free range eggs ,onions,sweet potato and whatever daily fresh fruit they have is like going to a fresh farm produce market i just love it

Great coffee and dessert.

Dropped in with group of 12. Great coffee abs awesome local desserts. Friendly local people. Great access and parking. Also some souvenirs available. Great kids play area.

Must try the milktart

We stopped here for coffee on route to our destination and succumbed to the delicious freshly baked single serving traditional milk tarts. Well worth a try. One can see it is a popular place to go to and it was very busy when we were...there. The service was excellent.More

Adventure on its own

Feels like the entire comes here for cakes and coffees. Very kind service but know that even a small bite will take an hour at least. Sandwiches are baked in butter so expect some fatyness. Nonetheless would sto here next time.

Great brunch

Lovely place to stop and have a snack. Good play area for the kids to play too and it’s next to Karoo Vine which is well worth visiting.
