How is The Landmark Cocktail Bar rated?

I've lived in Joburg my whole life and had only heard about The Landmark Cocktail Bar yesterday afternoon from a family member. We went there for a few drinks and some food and I must say I was blown away not only by the food...but by the service. Our waiter was Khumbo and he was a welcoming, attentive, and lovely waiter to have. He made sure we were comfortable and happy the entire time. I just want to say thank you for the fantastic service and an even better night. I will be recommending to friends and family.More

Fabulous Food, Great Atmosphere

The staff are friendly and drinks were served fast. We ordered two pizza's which were both delicious. The vibe was relaxed and easy, great spot for after work drinks.

Still a great place to meet up with up with friends

I had not been for a while and jumped at the chance to meet up at the Landmark when friends suggested getting together on Friday afternoon. I have always enjoyed the vibe and experience at the Landmark. There have been some positive changes since I...was last at the Landmark- there are some new more comfortable couches. With it being colder, the fire was also on which added to the ambiance. I have always liked their pizzas and we ordered three for the four of us. There are two vegetarians in the group and the selection of pizzas for vegetarians is fantastic. Our favorite was the butternut, Gorgonzola and truffle. The service was great. Options and more options

This is an iconic bar with a number of cocktails and a large selection of Wiskey. Great ambiance and location for a few drinks or an evening out, be it business or a night with friends.

Classy Cocktails

Great bar at Cafe Del Sol with a classy feel and a beautiful view of the Sandton CBD skyline. They also have a large variety of delicious cocktails.

Expensive but nice

Went for drinks before supper. Nice bar, but found it very pricey. Can't go there every week. :-) Very wide selection

Top Bar in Bryanston

One of my favourite after work drink spots in Jhb is definitely Landmark bar, I have been there with various groups of people for birthday drinks, client drinks and after work girls drinks and it is a favourite. Great cocktails, good champers selection and awesome...food. They can improve on the service and it is small so hard to get a seat but well worth the visit.More

Best drinks place in JHB. Lovely vibe with a mixed crowd of people in terms of age and culture. Def. Give it a try

Magnificent Cocktails

A most wonderful Cocktail Bar with great ambiance, knowledgeable staff and at least 100 cocktails to choose from. If you cant get it here then you cant get it anywhere !!!!

Delicious old fashioned

Cosy warm bar with the best, strongest "old fashioned" in town. The restaurant next door is family friendly with efficient staff and warmest heaters.

Great high end bar

One of my favourite spots in Jo'burg. Great set-up, small and cozy yet lively enough. Fantastic cocktails only made from the best ingredients. Some may find it a bit pricey but it's worth it. More for the mature crowd. Being able to order from the...restaurant menu is a bonus but I would stick to snacks and pizza as the tables are quite small. Of the best pizza I ever had.More

What a wonderful world

After my initial review, I have been back 4 times. The selection of drinks across the spectrum is superb and with the fire going now that it is colder, adds a very special feel to what is already a high - end bar ( you...could be anywhere in the world but at least paying in rands!) The craft pizzas which are served in the bar are spectacular. Best service around.More

Classy Bar

Great decor and great cocktails. Previously had really good service with sharp banter at the bar but less so this time.....and no Japanese whisky! Still one of the best bars in the north of Sandton - with good safe parking.

Oh what a bar!

While the cocktail menu is what hits you first, it is the wooden full - length bar and the library - style wine and whisky " rack " behind the bar that really stands out.. The ambiance is great and there is literally something for...everybody. Service was perfect. There is a limited food menu available - the artisanal pizzas are really special. Can't wait for winter when they get the fire going too!More

Overrated

Good vibe, generally busy so it's difficult to find seats. Conveniately located. Drinks are a tad overpriced. Check the price of shots before you buy. Ordered a pizza, which was average. All in all, the look and feel is great but nothing to write home...about.More
