We know café del sol since the first restaurant in North riding more than 10 years ago and the cousine has always been excellent at all three restaurants. Unfortunately this is the second time we go and we are disappointed, this time beyond imagination. We...spent most of our time outside as there was a wonderful sunset and come in only to it, olthe outside add rubbish and drinks spilled everywhere, I ordered a pork belly and I didn't finish it as it was to chowy... Cherry on the cake... We came back to our table and it was given to someone else! We got offered to sit somewhere else but no one told us until we came inside. I am afraid some TLC is due and I hope we can come back soon to one of the best Italian restaurants in JozyMore

This restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and aesthetic but the seafood pasta leaves you disappointed. No seasoning, stodgy pasta, chewy and very limited quantities of seafood. An absolute let down while trying to celebrate a special occasion.

Setting is very good.. service is up to expectations… the food choices are wide and the Dodd was excellent… salmon carpaccio was wonderful, the Vegan options were great -

Good service without the waitrons hovering, really good food. I found the menu wide enough to cater for most tastes.

Had the seafood pasta, when I asked about the lack of meat in the mussels I was offered a replacement with equally no meat and undercooked mussels. The manager said that all the mussels are without much meat die to a red tide somewhere! Really?!

Once it was a very good Italien restaurant. Now it lost its soul. The Food isn‘t Italien at all, only the wording of the items on the menu sounds Italien.

Cafe Del Sol was great. Service was good and the food was excellent. We enjoyed the array of menu options, and were very happy with all of our choices; though most are priced a little high. A surprising number of items are marked SQ -...which does mean the slightly awkward conversation confirming the price. But apart from that we enjoyed are meal and would happily return.More

We love Cafe Del Sol in Olivedale, but this? They deserve to close. Three out of four meals were served. Two of them almost cold. No cutlery. Fourth meal arrived eventually then the cutlery. Same with desert, three out of four. Then they wheeled the...rubbish bags through the restaurant!More

If you've already visited the other Cafes Del Sol, then you will know what to expect. If you haven't, then prepare yourself for a really good upmarket Italian meal. The menu is varied and very well put together. The restaurant itself is very comfortable and...well appointed, with a substantial amount of seating outside. There is also sufficient space between tables. The food is really good. I tend to migrate to the gnocchi with walnuts and gorgonzola cream that is always beautifully prepared. We returned after some time and were so impressed with the overall experience on Saturday. From the warm welcome from the management team on arrival, to the attentive service from Chamu our waiter, to the incredibly well presented and tasty meals. First time to Cafe Del Sol on our Date night, was so looking forward to the cuisine but was so disappointed in the Managers attitude and the Food was extremely poor. Floor was filthy, we sat behind a screen with my view being a big...black dustbin! I asked for no garlic in my Risotto which came with white truffle oil which according to the Manager tastes like garlic and that is just the way it is, huge attitude, basically had 4 mouthfuls at an absorbent price that we paid with no apologies or even an offer of a free beverage. I mean if the Chef knows that white truffle oil mimics garlic then surely you had less to satisfy the needs of your customer!!! Will not be back, felt totally ripped off and basically spoilt our evening.More
