Good little coffee spot in the middle of the mall. Good service, good open sandwiches, good cake selection. Hope it survives

Lemon drizzle cake was not entirely cooked and wasn't as expected. The brownie served was rock hard..the Carmel popcorn on the hot chocolate was stale. Sorry that this wasn't a better review.

Have a pot of tea but make sure you try some of the sweet stuff, the smaller the better as it's the quality that you're after.

I stoped for a drink and some cake - so impressed with what I got - moist and tasty. Service was a bonus - so friendly

It’s a little cramped inside for a tall guy like myself. Food was really good though. Service is pretty awesome. And having the ability to take chocolates home as a gift is bonus 🤩

Felt like something sweet to cure the Sunday night blues. The service here was great, but unfortunately the cake was not. The chocolate cake was ok, but the vanilla was not nice at all - it was heavy (instead of light and airy like vanilla...cake should be) and tasted a little on the old side.More

I had an amazing cup of coffee and caught up on some emails while I waited for shops in the centre to open. I would return just for the coffee. Top class.

Melt has chocolate aspirations, and whilst their chocolates are mouth watering, its also a great place to visit for some tasty gourmet sandwiches, great coffee and exceptionally good carrot cake. The shop is in a shopping mall and seating is mostly outside the shop, but...it still feels personal, especially if you are fortunate enough to be served by a rather charismatic waiter (the guy with glasses, you will notice him instantly), who has a great client service talent. PS: the coffee is great (did I mention that?)More

Melt has always been a favorite for a coffee and cake - my particular favorite is the sticky marmalade cake. We had the freezochino which was fantastic (perfect for our hot weather!). Great service

Traveling from Oslo, Norway to South Africa on holiday, we did not expect a hidden gem in the enclaves of Johannesburg. Divine Smørbrød, I think they call it gourmet open sandwich, very organic, healthy citrus drink shake, coupled with delightful, friendly first class service from...- Nathan a "Service God", - service that ranked way beyond our expectations. Lovely decor!More

Great range.. best place to buy cooking and baking chocolate too. Cooking classes are really great and an option for a corporate event.

This tea shop was once quaint and you would be served tea in china tea cups & silver tea pots, have a lovely slice of cake - a real tea shop. A lovely idea and place. Sadly the tea is now served in thick pottery...cups bordering on coffee mugs, the cakes are average and the food is expensive and unimaginative. Food comes from Woolies - their sandwiches are a slice of WW health bread, some smoked chicken & avo slices on top - anyone could do better making a sandwich at home. It’s lost it’s charm.More
