I have visited some of the finest restaurants a in the world. I live in Cape Town with some really excellent restaurants and Leaf stands out. An outstanding and surprising 5 star offering on a resort island. The friendly chefs go about their work in an open kitchen offering only the freshest options. The servings are perfectly sized and flavours blended extremely well. As a family of six who all have halal dietary requirements, this establishment absolutely “ delivered the goods”.

BRAVO This was my favorite restaurant at Laamu. Pure farm to table with the freshest ingredients from their own organic garden plus sustainably sourced local fish. The superb menu changes every single day and chef Stefan and his are moving out of their way to accommodate special requests. Flavor combinations and presentation can easily compete with European fine dining establishments. Service and wine suggestions from the sommelier Karim are top notch.

My lovely wife and I had the privilege of eating at the Leaf Restaurant twice during our stay at Six Senses Laamu. Leaf is an elevated square restaurant accessed via an old fashioned “one at a time” swing bridge. The dining area surrounds the open kitchen which consists of 4 cooking stations – 2 for the amuse bouche and deserts and 2 for the starters and mains, plus a plating station. Very ably run by chef Gihan. Our first visit was for the 4-course tasting menu (with optional wine pairing). We chose a table alongside the kitchen where we could literally see our food being prepared. The amuse bouche for the evening was arancini with curry mayo, spinach hummus olive toast and creamy date with crispy onion. Starters was seared Canadian scallops with cauliflower and Parma ham. For our main course we were served black Angus beef tenderloin with mushroom and taleggio. Desert was a “no bake” raspberry cheesecake with vanilla sponge, and we ended the evening with petit fours – exquisite dark chocolate truffles & rum bon bons. We returned on our last evening and ate from the a la carte menu. All we can say is WOW, absolutely and amazingly good – and we can see exactly why Leaf has got a reputation as being a near Michelin Star restaurant.

It is our second trip to Six Senses Laamu and we were excited to return to Chef Stefan's restaurant. We have spoiled ourselves with expensive meals in Chicago and New York, and normally don't hold high expectations when dining in hotels or resorts. That does not apply to Leaf. This is restaurant is truly a Michelin starred gem. The quality of the produce is impeccable. From the greens harvested in front of the restaurant that are literally hand picked by the Chef (eat your heart out French Laundry) to the taste he extracts from every ingredient, this dining experience owes nothing to the top restaurants you will find in any of the gastronomy capitals of the world. The restaurant alone is worth a visit to Six Senses. Wine pairings are balanced and well thought of. Plating is a feast for the eyes. We will be coming for thirds, fourths and fifths...

So goooood and delicious menus - and every day new menu with options of meat, seafood or vegetarian. Fresh herbs from own garden and most beautiful presentations. We were introduced for several new flavours and compositions on the plates. It was an exquisite pleasure every time - not least because of the super skilled, sweet waiters with fine humor - Levant became quickly our own wine specialist :))

Chef Stefan and his team create art on a plate. The daily changing menu offers dishes using the highest quality sustainable ingredients. It's too pretty to eat, but you'll savor every last bite.

Varied set menu fine dining in a beautiful surrounding. Leaf was our favourite restaurant and the only one we repeated. We loved the fact that all the vegetables and fruits were grown on the resort's vegetable garden.

We enjoyed the high cousine in Leaf restaurant during our stay in the Six Senses paradise resort. Every day the menu of restaurant was different (there was selection of three courses: vegetarian, meat, fish) and every time we tasted new dishes, which were amazingly delicious with unusual serving. The staff was very kind and helpful. It was so romantic to seat among the top of the trees, eat fantastic fresh food and enjoy our holidays. We would like to thank the chef and the staff for such nice impression and inviting atmosphere!

We were seated at a table over looking the ocean, but had been told earlier that there was a 145.00 fee for ocean tables thus were surprised we did not have to pay this fee. Perhaps they were trying to see how much they could get out of us. Who knows.

Culinary Delights We dined at this fantastic restaurant most nights and it was our favorite restaurant at the resort. The menu here changes daily. Whatever we have chosen was just perfect in taste, presentation and portion size. Even as non vegetarian we were impressed by the plant based dishes. I didn’t know that vegan food can impress me, but it was WOW. Kudos to Chef Stefan and his amazing team. We can’t wait to be back. 🙏

Super restaurant in idyllic surroundings, the beach one side and the organic garden the other. Entering on the rope bridge definitely adds to the sense of occasion. You know why you’re there, the food - a good combination and variety of meat : fish and vegetarian. A wonderful 4 course offering of innovation, imagination and creativity. Balanced flavors, superfluous textures and delightful presentation. Really really good - my hats off to the executive chef. Well done And importantly - Thanks to Riza for his hospitality , friendliness and insight on the food. Exceptional service A must visit

During our our 2 weeks stay at Six Senses Laamu we have visited this restaurant five times. All restaurants at the resorts are amazing, but Leaf is standing out. The executive chef Stefan and his team are putting each night a new menu together. Everything we have tried was just perfect. Pure flavours, super creative and really thoughtfully done. Service is top notch and super friendly.

Delicious food as a grade of Six Senses. Always enjoyed the place. When you stay in any resorts in Maldives, of course, you would have to eat in the resort. So food and restaurants are the important factors when you choose the resort. Six Senses for us is always our choice. Great resort, great service and great food.
