My husband and I visited in June on a road trip from Florence. The owner, Antonio, welcomed us onto the property, in the most serene setting you could possibly imagine. Covered in flowers and fig trees, with the most fragrant smell. The building is several...floors, with each one having a better view of the coastline than the last. Antonio was so kind and presented us with a beautiful tasting of nuts, figs, prosecco and more. He spoke with us for nearly 2 hours, and explained everything about the process and the property. It was such a lovely experience and certainly felt like a hidden gem! We hope to go back when the white figs are fully ripe so we can try those.More

An amazing place! Professional in all ways; delicious small dishes, very friendly service, interesting presentations and a breathtaking view from the terrace. Beautiful surroundings. No wonder that people come from far away to visit Santomiele located in the lovely small village Prignano. Many thanks!

This is not really a restaurant but rather a fig production site with the possibility to try their products by a tasting menu. Check their web site for more info. We booked a tasting+tour of their place called "sweet and salty" and had a great...time tasting many local products in combination with their own figs, all at a very reasonable price. The staff was very professional and with the possibility to add an English interpreter we could all follow their stories. I would definitely recommend this as an event if you're in the area and wants to explore local culinary products.More

Local figs are pampered to become delicious morsels. I recommend pairing them with a very old port. a really great place to visit especially with a group of friend. The staff is very gracious and accommodating. I go back everytime I'm nearby
