I am very happy that my family and I spontaneously stopped off at the restaurant in the Hotel Stadtkrug. I was born in Parchim, but I haven't lived in the region for years. So last night we wanted to have dinner spontaneously, so we stopped off at the Stadtkrug, a long-established Parchim inn. The food was freshly prepared and the service was extremely hospitable. We will definitely come back. Thank you for the lovely evening in your restaurant.

Very friendly staff. The food was good so far except for the salad, so whoever is responsible for it could show more creativity. The taste of the salad should also vary. There are currently tomatoes, cucumbers and other fresh vegetables, so you don't have to add raw slices of zucchini without dressing.

The Stadtkrug serves well-prepared traditional German dishes making no short-cuts in ingredients nor cooking. The service is prompt and very attentive, and the old times charm and punctuality prevail in a friendly manner. Prices are very reasonable.
The bar and dining room have a beautiful old decor to make the enjoayble meal complete.
On Sunday lunch time the restaurant was full, book or come early.

We were very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant in the heart of Parchim! A warm and extremely friendly service combined with normal pricing and speedy service made it the ideal combination. Staff did their very best to speak English as well, even provided a menu in English. Whenever in the area again, we will go back!

While staying at the Hotel in the same building, I had my dinner here and was not expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and the size of the portion! I had a schnitzel with bratkartoffeln, everything was homemade and had a wonderful taste. The guest room is a little old fashioned and quaint, but it is what you would expect. Also very clean and the service personnel were fast and courteous.

We were staying in the hotel and ate outside at the outdoor tables one evening. The food was excellent and the service was nice and the beer was nice and cold. The location is great near the center of town with lots of people coming by. Just a pleasant way to spend the evening

We liked this restaurant a lot. The ambiance is authentic and rustic, the food is of good quality and prepared with care. Traditional German food, straight forward and reasonable priced.
The staff is friendly and they know how to make you feel welcome.
Also popular with the locals which is always a good sign.
Don't skip the Stadtkrug when you are in the neighborhood.

Much better and friendlier staff than at the hotel, food nicely cooked, rather oldfashioned menu, but that is something all too seldom found and here the traditional German provincial food was very well cooked and very friendly served. Quite an unexpected nice experience. And at very, very reasonable prices !! Definetely a recommendation, if you like a straitforward tasty meal.
