Going spontaneously with 6 people on a public holiday can be difficult. We had a very good reservation, but with a little patience we were lucky to get a table.

Very tasteful modern ambience and above-average service. Food and drinks leave little to be desired. Likewise, the excellent service and the cozy ambience right on the water were actually a real Recommendation, but at best reserve a table beforehand!

We arrived exhausted from the meeting and got one of the last tables (without having booked). Nice menu, the atmosphere is perfect. The landlady is direct, confident and has a fine sense of humor.

Stopped from autobahn for a bite of food at a beautiful place. Very kind and attentive service. Enjoyed a schnitzel with fantastic crispness and bratkartoffel. The restaurant is beside the canal leading down to the lake. Very beautiful.

It looked cosy and it was. The staff smiled all the time even though we couldn't speak Getman. Their tapas was really nice as was the wine. They have a hotel which I wish we would have stayed in.

There is no better place in plau am see where you can enjoy such a great food, ambience and location. The restaurant finds itself on a corner where you can admire a beautiful view. In summer yo can lay and enjoy the sun and also a good cocktail ( I love the Fakelfritz No.3 with wild berrys). About the ambience is not much to say, all just perfect. The service couldn't be better. The food is great but you don't have much to choose from. The deserts are heaven..all of them. My problem is with the prices..for all what I just mentioned you have to pay..and it's not little money. This will be not your "all day restaurant "but for special occasions it's perfect. Enjoy!

We stayed in the Fackelgarten Hotel for one night and we decided to eat dinner in the Fackelgarten restaurant as well. That was a good decision. My wive had the Asian chicken. I had pasta with beef stripes. Both was great. Just great. The kitchen is very creative and the food tastes and looks exclellent. It was also a pleasure to look out of the windows and to see the birds and ducks preparing for the night on the water. We also had breakfast here the next morning (which was part of the hotel night). Another great experience. Really a great and nice breakfast. Friendly people, good food, nice prices. This is the place to be.

My favorite restaurant in Plau at any time of year. Juana is the soul of the restaurant, although everyone is very nice. The food is plentiful and very good. I will of course be back!
