We had a superb dinner experience with our friends from the US. The chef Juergen prepared each of our local style meals freshly in the open kitchen in the restaurant to the point. Rarely you will find this high quality in the other crowded places around the Tegernsee area.

We had lunch at this restaurant today because of the good reviews here. Our expectations were high, but they were exceeded. We had a reservation and were greeted with a beautifully laid table with cloth napkins. The service was friendly and attentive. It was difficult to choose the dishes, as everything sounded so delicious. The short wait was bridged with a greeting from the kitchen. We decided on the Wiener Schnitzel and the medallions of corn-fed chicken breast, along with a mixed salad plate. Everything was freshly prepared, of the highest quality and couldn't have tasted better.

Once again we stopped at Useful Things Tagesbar & Feinkost on our arrival at the Althoff Hotel! The lovely atmosphere, friendly hosts and very good food always bring us there! It's amazing that such a small restaurant offers such a selection and quality! You absolutely have to try the house dressing for salad. The breading on the veal schnitzel is so crispy and buttery. Kaiserschmarren is wonderful, it's my favourite dish and I know what I'm talking about!

We visited this small restaurant today after reading the many positive reviews on Tripadvisor. I'm always a bit skeptical at first when you can only read very good reviews. And what can we say after our visit: Everything is just right.
Starting with a salad with Danish dressing, which you have to look for - everything was fresh and very well seasoned. For the main course we had beef tenderloin with fried potatoes or Wiener schnitzel with potato salad: everything was perfectly prepared. As a special extra, I treated myself to an extra portion of chanterelles with my beef fillet. It couldn't be better! Unfortunately, we're only on vacation for a relatively short time, but we've already booked a table in 3 days!
The price-enjoyment ratio is hard to beat!

Simply great, we were there 4 times to eat and shop. We can only recommend it, as the restaurant doesn't have many seats, just make a reservation or buy something nice there. Thank you for being there.
