We loved the dishes we ordered! Got a Hunter’s Plate and Salmon Linguine. The pork loin was surprisingly juicy and tender, nicely grilled, and perfectly matched with mushroom ragout. Homemade linguine’s really really good! Oh, we loved the salad too. Will definitely visit again!

The beer garden offers a wonderful view of the lake. We had lunch, the menu offered both traditional and modern dishes. We had meatloaf with herb spatula and Surf and Turf. Both very tasty. The service was extremely polite, courteous, gave us recommendations and was very attentive. Great service. We were there spontaneously and got a table with lake view!

I have no idea how the reviews are so good. The food on offer is of a lower standard in a pub, none of the specialties on the website were visible and when I asked about them, I was only told that they were asked too rarely. The onions on my roast beef were fried, which I had never experienced before and was commented on with "we've always done it like that". The food really upset my stomach and you have to dig deep into your pockets for it, I would advise against it!!!

Amazing experience - food and view are the absolute best!

Extremely pleasant restaurant with an amazing view to the Schliersee. The food was incredibly good - I had the fish menu and my boyfriend had a meat dish and they were extremely well conceived. The waiters were very nice and the view is extremely beautiful. I totally recommend this restaurant and I’m looking forward to come back!

We had driven here especially from Tegernsee, because we had been tipped that there should be fresh fish from Schliersee here. There was a lot of activity that Friday and the kitchen wanted to close. We ordered creek char fillet with potatoes and a mixed grill of fish. There was also a side salad - apparently the cook didn't have time to pluck the salad leaves - they had to shred with a knife. We live in Schliersee and are regulars at the Hofhaus. No idea where/why the negative reviews come from people who don't feel like making a reservation or are just generally in a bad mood. In all the years, including the lockdown, we have never had a bad experience, neither with the very tasty food nor with the always friendly staff. Please stay with us! 😍

We always look forward to our next visit to the Hofhaus am See We had Obazda, meatloaf and goulash. Every dish was absolutely delicious and filling!!!!! The service is super friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!!!!

Super nice quaint but modern inn right on Schliersee. Sat in the beer garden and had roast veal and salmon trout. Both super delicious and the kitchen was not standard but outstandingly good. Also had our dog (Border Collie), he got extra water in the bowl. Service was great - highly recommended!
