Although we hadn’t had a reservation, they proposed us to be seated at the bar. Some 15 min. later a table was available. The food was really excellent, don’t hesitate to choose local specialities. The portions are quite big - accompanied with fries/baked potatoes and...salads.More

Interested after the recensions I tried my luck. Place in an interesting building, traditional atmosphere. There were many clients but still 3/4 empty tables not in the best spots. A young waitress, asked if there was place for a lone one to eat, answered exactly:...We are well frequented, there isn't place.. I know I wasn't dressed to go to restaurant but simply average, but I don't find it an answer to give to a would be client. I don't need to spend there my moneyMore

And I do not say this very often. Everything was very good, from welcome, the appetizer, main menu to the special beer.

The accomodation is absolutely perfect. Nice inner terrace, antique furniture all over the restaurant, personnel nice dressed. UThe low energy lights in the restaurant are a bit flashy; good lightning in Germany seems to be an issue all over the country. It took a long...time before we got the menu and it took aven more time to place an order. Very easy we ordered two times the "Rhöner Teller", one without backed potatoes plus some extra salad, plus a botle of medium sparkling water. When the water was served the waitress forgot to start the serving with the lady at the table. The main course served looked good as well as the accompanying salad. The tasting was different: The meat was cooked to fast and on a too high temperature, the baked onions were to salty and the salad was to sweet. After all it was not bad, but could have been much better.More
