I've been coming here for years. The service is always friendly, attentive and friendly, the food is delicious, and the drinks menu is extensive. The location itself is stylish and cozy in a modern way, but at the same time the many old photos bear witness to the history and tradition of the restaurant. The beer garden by the river is beautifully situated with the large chestnut tree. The heated pavilion tents in winter are also a great idea. Kong and his staff run the restaurant with passion, and you can feel the good working atmosphere. The combination of everything makes the LBS simply great!

Stopped into the Faust Brewery. Went here after for great Faust beer and butter pretzels. The experience was great.

Faust Brauhaus is the tap of the local craft brewery, its beer garden conveniently located on the banks of the Main river along the Miltenberg promenade. It's a fairly small beer garden by Bavarian standards, a situation exacerbated by the present COVID19 crisis. On this Whitsunday, of course it was a popular location - but it took me just a few minutes to secure a table, after my personal data had been taken down (name, address, phone) *should* said beer garden prove to be a source for future Corona infections. Hand sanitation was provided. This is a very nice place to linger, with friendly and efficient staff, great local beer and solid, down-to-earth "Brauhaus food". The Faust beers are much better on tap than from the bottle, especially the popular unfiltered Zwickl beer "Kräusen" - much hazier on tap. There are no printed menus, you have to download PDFs to your phone using the IR codes provided on each table. Nice, relaxed atmosphere, nice view, very good beers good service - what's not to like? Price per 0.5l was €3.70.

In the beer garden there was only a shortened menu opposite the indoor restaurant.
From ordering to delivery of food it takes over a 1 1/4 hours. Vieeeeeel too long!!! The portions were much too small in relation to the price. The food itself was just average. The drinks way too expensive. You felt outside in the beer garden like you were doing a mass tourist handling. Conclusion: once and never again!

Such a wonderful brewery tour and story. Beware if you are tall or have any difficulty walking on rugged terrain! Otherwise a must visit. Samples were wonderful and delicious.

We stopped for lunch. It has spectacular view and very good service. No need to say the quality of the beer they brew.

We almost didn´t manage to get ourselves a spot in here last night. Of course, we had no reservation. It´s rather small inside. And it was REALLY loud, even thought there were only about 30-40 people in here.
The service was good, nothing to complain here.
The food was either really good or mediocre, depending on who you ask from our group. Two had some burgers. They looked, and apparently also tasted, not really fresh and surely not hand-made. I myself had the schnitzel and another friend a vegetarian option, both of which were really good. Prices are reasonable as well. So 4/5

We came to Miltenberg just because of the brewery Faust. In their own brewpub the selection of beers was extremely poor. Just 5 beers on tap and only their standard ones. Staff was not interested in informing about their beers. Just like any kind of low standard bier garden.

We got a tour through Faust in English. Good introduction on the brewery and we could taste different beers: from regular ones to premium. Then, we walked around the brewery visiting step by step of the beer production ending up in their cave and choosing another beer in the end of the tour. The guide, which was also the brew master, was super friendly. Recommended!

Brewery of the year and the food here was great. Good place to meet your friends and share a few of their good biers. Only drawback was that they didn't serve all of the biers available at their brewery.

This was a nice place to stop for a beer in the heat of the day. Was my first Faust Beer and while it was good I have had many German beers that are better. Service was great and would recommend this as a place to stop.

Miltenberg has so much to offer but high on my list is an evening at the Faust Biergarten. Very good food options at reasonable prices but the highlight is sitting "out back" and watching the people and boats go by on the mighty Main River. Toast this review when you experience this yourself. Prost!

We went on a rainy day so could not take advantage of the biergarten overlooking the Main River. We had a taste inside of the Faust Pils, their local brew and it did not disappoint -- it was very good, although still love the Augustiner Helles much more.
Staff were nice and spoke limited English.
Unfortunate we had to go inside on a rainy day!
