A great afternoon was spent at this beautiful winery. The wine tasting paddles worked well. The wines were interesting and the set up of the wine tasting and food area is fabulous. We came home with a few bottles and will buy more in the...future. The owner was charming and shared her story. We would highly recommend itMore

Had a lovely afternoon in the sun with the $15 wine tasting and great value cheese board for $25. If you're staying in the area I definitely recommend you drop in for a visit.

This is a must do. The staff were very friendly and helpful and no pressure to buy. We sat outside on the beautiful deck which has an outside fire place overlooking the winery/gardens which also has a children’s play area. Room inside also to sit...which has a fireplace also. We ordered a wine sample plate and a cheese food platter which was beautifully presented and had the most lovely and tasty assortment of meats, cheese, bread, etc. Do yourself a favour and visit this beautiful winery. Can highly recommend False Cape.More

What a beautiful place to relax. We had a tasting flight of really lovely wines. All super affordable. It was hard to choose a favourite. The cellar door itself was beautifully done. It had a warm, rustic feel complete with a roaring fire, and overlooked...a well maintained garden. Kids and teenager friendly. Great service and friendly staff. Highly recommend.More

Had a wine paddle tasting and lunch on our last day in Kangaroo Island, SA. The day was quite chilly but a burner was fired up creating a lovely, relaxed ambience. Food and wine were excellent - staff friendly and helpful. We bought a dozen...bottles (mixed) and also some other KI products. Loved the whole experience. Thank you.More

This is a must visit on your KI trip. The venue was outstanding with indoor and outdoor dining and wine tasting. The staff were extremely pleasant, helpful and friendly. The wines were great and the food platter was perfect, just the right amount and a...good mix to match the wines. Very relaxing as a couple or in a group. You must go here!!!More

We really enjoyed our 2 hour stop on a Monday. Sampled a variety of white & red wines along with a delightful cheese platter superbly presented. The wines were of good quality and quite distinctive which offered lots of appeal. Dale was a great host...and was informative on all things KI. Even on a damp, wet, cold day it was a great stop. On a sunny warm day it would be superb outside.More

One of the better cellar doors on KI. Great views of the vineyard and a lovely cosy fire inside. We didn’t order food but the platters coming out looked great. Can’t wait to hear back

The trip out here was well worth it. A stunning thought-out establishment with stunning views of the vineyard and recycled décor. Good selection of wines and platters.

We tasted wine and had a delicious platter here. Staff very friendly. The garden is gorgeous. We came in winter and it was nice and toasty inside - beautiful watching the rain over the vines through the big windows.
