It was hard to find this place, it’s call caboose. Awesome food ! Love love the curry fish dish I had! Best food ever. Very local food and a great lunch to have after a day of snorkeling at Rum’s point. I came here after...a long day of swimming at Rum’s. Excellent choices of food here. I would suggest to have fish as one of their dishes! They have awesome hospitality! I would love to come back here if I wasn’t so far where I stayed !More
Sign out front needs to be changed as we kept looking for Kurt’s corner which is really the Caboose, Real Cayman food prepared while you wait. Multiple original dishes to choose from. Server was very helpful in explaining different dishes. Great spot to grab a...quick bite of true Cayman food.More
Awesome little dive offering local fresh fish. Had to go to liquor store next door to get beers as the adjacent bar was not yet open at noon but not a problem. Lunch for 6 was under $100 and no one left hungry. Large portions...and great serviceMore
I called early in the day to see if a group of ten would be a problem that night. They said no and when we got there a table was waiting for us! Service was attentive and everything we ordered was delicious, especially the grouper...curry. I would rather have seen another fish used since grouper is over-fished, but based on other reviews, we had to try it. Conch fritters were also good, but the sauce was just tartar sauce and lacked any flavor. We noticed a brisk take out business from local people. Finding it from the road requires some attention since it is hiding behind the adjacent bar and not easily visible.More
I’m happy to report that Home 🥘 Cooking and Local Flavors are alive and well on the island 🌴
We sat on Kurt’s home-like porch and ordered a seafood smorgasbord unlike any I’ve had on the mainland: Deep fried and Coconut Curried Grouper, Whole fried...red snapper, Conch fritters, FRESH coconut 🥥 shrimp 🦐 and all family members nothing but smiles all thru dessert with home made key lime pie.
Thank You for a wonderful evening 🐯More

Prices are in CID. We’ve been coming to Grand Cayman for several years. No one has ever given us US money for change, and we have asked several times. This way, you must spend all of the money you have that’s Cayman.
I rather doubt it has changed, as it appeared to be a mom-and-pop type of place with staff that had been there a long time, and they were doing good business. Name change? --maybe under new management, but no other changes... More
