We ate here twice during our week long stay in Brides. The place was packed both times, just at the end of ski season, so reservations are a great idea ( we just made them in person by walking in).
The food I’d describe as “ artisan pub fare”, nothing overly complicated but simple, well made dishes featuring local ingredients. The prices were on par with most other restaurants in Brides. Three nights a week they have live music; we enjoyed a pair of singer guitarists that made our Tuesday evening meal memorable.
If you are in town for at least a few days you won’t go wrong by spending one evening at this place.

Came here as a group of 3, we had fondue and a tartiflette. Both were amazing! The mushroom fondue was delicious and the tartiflette was equally as tasty and filling. Reasonable cost compared to what you can pay further up the mountain! Would definitely recommend coming here if you're in Brides Les Bains!

Varied menu including local specialities. Options for vegetarians are fondues (2 choices) and pasta dishes (2 choices). You need to book as it is a very busy restaurant. Service was slow one day as they were short staffed and normal the second time we went. Friendly staff.

We were pleased to be back in Bistrop Savoyard for a lovely meal. We had the steak bavette and it was cooked perfectly to everyone’s liking (couple medium and a couple medium rare) with tasty salad and fries. Desserts were tasty with crème brûlée proving popular ! Lovely beer selection with the local and Belgian ales tasted. We plan to visit again in March 24 so will be sampling the menu again….

We had pluma of porc for 24 EUR. Portion was small. It was a bit pricy.
The composition of the dish with mashed potatoes was for me quite odd. It tasted ok.
The presentation of the dish could also be better.
The restaurant delivered on par with other restaurants in Brides les Banes but below avarage compared to ordinary Parisien bistros.
The atmosphere in the restaurant was nice.
The service was also excellent.

We have been to the restaurant regularly for the last five years when we visit Brides both as a large group and also as a family. The team in the restaurant are always friendly and the food great with large group we have sampled most of the dishes with great feedback. The music nights with bands are good and have enjoyed these - the boss Dada is a great guy and really focussed on his team, band setup and customers having a good evening - we will always remember fondly our Lockdown party night with the whole team ! We are back in March 2023 and so look forward to visiting again …..

I would love keep this place to myself, but, it is only fair to share an absolute gem. A must go if you can.
Dada the owner has produced a fantastic mix of great, plentiful food plus live music some nights, keeping the atmosphere great and not forgetting the fabulous staff.
We are back in march and I’m already thinking about entrecôte.

The restaurant looks ok, but the service is awful. The lady in charge is rude and abusive. The people that work with her look afraid as they would not even raise their eyes. We went to have dinner on Monday 21st if February, 2022, at 8 pm. As there was no room, she told us to come back, and when we did, she started screaming at us saying that she had no place! . She was dismissive and offensive. I had my arm broken and she would not even care for that! My recommendation? Do not go to a place like that. You will be mistreated.
We went to other nice restaurant in Brides le bains and they confirmed that they all know about this hysterical place and manager. Thanks good there are many more options.

Perfect restaurant. Nice personnel, really really good food! The cheese fondue was perfect and you should definitely not skip the desserts because they are absolutely delicious. Will definitely come back again! Loved it!

The place had been recommended to us by the owners of our cottage and we were not disappointed. Hearty plates, fresh ingredients, smooth and tender meat, home fries, as well as sauces and dessert. Friendly and passionate staff. Good address!

Great place! The atmosphere is pretty lively yet not too overwhelming. We were able to chat with friends comfortably.
The food was absolutely amazing. We had gotten a Raclette to share, and the portions were huge considering the prices. Both the cheese and meat quality were good, and it overall was super fun.
The staff was understanding and patient with us, and ensured that we had gotten all the we wanted.
I would highly recommend this restraunt to anyone who is looking for a traditional French restaurant in Brides Les Baines.

Location top. Top food. Highly recommended Tartiflette, followed by polet à la bis trop, chicken cooked at low temperature that literally melts in the mouth. All very good, average prices of the place, friendly and welcoming staff.

Received like in a bowling game. That means we wait a long time for a waiter to take our order, then we wait a very long time for our drinks. Not against the collection, it's very fast and without preamble. In short, for the service it's zero!!!! We really need to give them lessons in courtesy!!!

This place is well worth a visit, short walk from resort centre but totally worth it. We didn't make a reservation but they fitted us in. Great wine recommendations and lovely "local" atmosphere.
