This is a small and cosy restaurant with 4 tables upstairs and a couple more tables downstairs. Recommend the goat’s cheese and nut salad as a starter, a cheese filled savoury crepe or three cheese pizza as a main and a sweet crepe for dessert. The food was so good we went twice in one week. The cost is also quite reasonable for a ski resort.

a location in the baths for a possible cure. We were looking for a restaurant and we were not disappointed. for 15 euros salad, lasagna or chicken/gratin very good. I had a crepe for dessert which was a treat. If we return to this charming village I would come back with great pleasure, the welcome was top notch.

We’ve lived here for 11 years and have never been to this restaurant until tonight.
We’ve missed out and will definitely return. The food is the best in Brides. Home cooked and absolutely delicious.
You need to book as minimum tables and less in winter. They can’t accommodate tables more then 4 so be prepared to split up.

The place seemed perfect for a cozy meal with only a few tables, unfortunately don't take pizza, especially the Reblochon one which has almost none and what's more doesn't smell like it...(I'd like to know where it comes from...) , my daughter had an ordinary tench of ham placed on top with barely melted cheese and the onions were not cooked. The other “Queen” being correct without more, we would have liked to smell the good local cheese!
Plus a fast service, in 1 hour it's a hassle but really a shame in such a place conducive to good Savoyard cuisine, perhaps we would have been better off having a typical dish, but the choice of cheese supplier must still be local.. Hoping to have been an exception since we came following the good comments (it's true that there have been few in 1 year)

I don't normally write bad reviews and I am also not easily offended but I just had a very bad experience. I wanted to book a table for another night and before I could try use my (limited) French to do so, I was rudely escorted out of the restaurant and aggressively shown a sign saying 'no more takeaway tonight'. I felt very patronised and embarrassed by the experience.

We went for early dinner and were surprised to see a very quaint decor and tons of local specials on the menu, not just pizza! My Osso Bucco was delish and the Raclette was plentiful and authentic. We added a green salad for just 3 euro charge! A karaffe of the house wine was cheap and good quality! We will go again maybe to try the veal and the pizza?

Eat in here most nights, plus a few lunch times - all you could ask for in a lovely setting as well.

Having visited this restaurant previously and food being average, on this occasion went with my son Pizza dough uncooked and forgot to put mozzarella on top, my lasagna was like soup and lukewarm , the pancake for dessert was unbelievably bad In 40 years been coming to France this has to be one of the worst meals ever

I ate here with my son on a Sunday evening at the end of a skiing weekend. We had to book a day in advance as the restaurant is very small, with 4 tables. (I did however notice when we were in there are another few tables downstairs).
I can understand why some people have said the owners are a bit rude; they could come across this way but they don’t speak much English and it’s hard to communicate.
We had a pizza and the Chicken Forestiere. Was it the best pizza in Brides - no. The Chicken Forestiere also lacked a bit of flavour. It was ok but not as good as the food in La Fabrik or Pizza Mans in the town. But it was the dessert we really wanted to try with the range of crepes on offer. My son went for a Nutella crepe and I ordered the pear and caramel. We were disappointed the chocolate one was served as a plain crepe and he was then handed a small packet of Nutella, the sort of single serve portion you’d get at a hotel breakfast. Where’s the theatre? Mine was served with the pear, caramel and ice cream presented on the crepe as you’d expect. Both were very nice.
Service was swift, a bit too fast at times, I’d like to have taken longer over the meal but I got the impression they wanted to close up at about 9pm.
The restaurant is quirky and very cosy inside. A few small tweaks could make this an amazing and unique dining experience.

Very hearthy and delicious food, the owners really care about the dishes they serve and the atmosphere in the restaurant. Loved the lamb with potatoes and also the salty pancake. The dessert with pears and salted caramel was also delicious! We'll be back for sure!
