The atmosphere of this restaurant is so lovely and romantic. The food was absolutely delicious (the beef melts in your mouth) and you are brought out the most wonderful appetisers to start. The service and the wine was great too. It was a brilliant meal...and we would highly recommend this to anyone who likes interesting and unique flavours. The food is beautifully presented, starting with innovative and delicious amuse bouches, the tasting menus are based on traditional Apulian cuisine with a modern slant, the a la carte menu is full of surprises, reflecting where...la Ripa’s young chef spends his time cooking when the restaurant closes in the winter. Great dining experience, started with a special greeting from the kitchen with fabolous small appetizers. We ordered 2 different menus, so that we were able to share some dishes. The appetizer was very good, a special one, but after that the menu was ok and...nothing special anymore. Sometime there was a bit to much garlic. The food here was exceptional, clever and innovative, making the most of the produce of Puglia. We had one of the tasting menus with the paired wines, and finished off with their twist on tiramisu, the best we have ever had. The surrounds are just...beautiful, loved eating in the alleyway under a rock archway. Highly recommend.More

We tried two different tasting menus (menu degustazione) between us and so experienced a wide range of delicious tastes, textures and flavours. My boyfriend & me had to visit La Ripa a second time while our short stay in Vieste. This is a very special place to dine! Besides the usual mediocre touristic restaurants in this corner of Vieste there lies this precious restaurant with an atmosphere...that sparkles romance, wonderful service and extraordinary food. The cooks really understand their onions. I would have loved to try everything on the menu!! I hope I will come back to Vieste one day to get the chance to eat at La Ripa again :) Thanks for having us!More
I really enjoyed my dinner in this restaurant - i took mussels as starters and pasta / fish as primi piatti. Very happy with my choices. Please note that : Service is super slow and people seems to be under water sometimes. To conclude -...i strongly recommand this place.More
Vieste needed such restaurants! Ideas, vision, quality, professional. Service and food were over the top. Astonishing entries with focaccia and grissini. Very good single glass wines. Prices are affordable. Recommended!
During in our stay we stumbled across this beautiful restaurant in an alleyway greeted by the main chef his hospitality and generosity with his time from the beginning was immense. We later went to the restaurant to try the food and my god was it...unreal. Starters were a treat and the main courses creativity was mind blowing. A must visit if you are ever in vieste not just for the food but hospitality.More
Very nice place, pleasant atmosphere. The starters we ordered were a bit bland, and my main course (lobster) was downright terrible. The “fritto misto” was not good either; it looked like the fish was not particularly fresh, it was probably frozen (at least some of...it). The dishes were not well presented, with things thrown in the plate as they were with little to no garnish. The bill was not unreasonable, but for the quality of what we ate it was quite the price.More

An incredibly cozy restaurant in the old town with wonderful service, fantastic food and lovely wines. We had a fantastic dorado, the best ever, and an equally good lime risotto. And it all ended with a lovely homemade limoncello. Highly recommended.
