First class service, beautiful location, absolutely delicious food. First course was ravioli which we shared and it was plentiful. Second course I had the tuna and cooked to perfection and hubby had the lamb which he said was tender and sweet. I had the tiramisu...as thought I can’t come to Italy and but taste and it too was delicious. Thank you for a beautiful evening 👍🏽🇬🇧More

One of our best meals on the Western coast of Sicily. The tuna with pistachio and Marsala cream sauce was soo good that we ordered it twice! The restaurant is owned by a young woman, her sister is the chef and her dad helps with...service. Wonderful experience, watch the boats pull in to harbor and the sun set over the Marina!More

Nice place and it is open in the off-season, when most patrons are local. On a cold evening in Marsala I found the waiter helpful: good red wine arrived promptly, but the house had no whisky except for an unconvincing bottle of some Irish brew……...The arancine we had for starters were very tasty and the fish was a dentex fished locally, quite good but a bit overpriced. It was well cooked and served with appropriate potatoes. The red Tascante proposed went very well with the fish. Some light (?) Sicilian sweets concluded an excellent meal, but compared to other places in Sicily, the price was excessive, leaving one with the feeling of “special treatment “ reserved to foreigners. May be that’s why they call themselves “The Buccaneers “…..More

We wanted to go out for dinner and wanted to have something special. Well... don‘t go there. Food quality: ok Wine: good selection, prices ok Friendliness: go somewhere else Atmosphere: the entire roof-terrace is without any charme. Prices: for Marsala it’s expensive You will find...far better restaurants in downtown Marsala with better prices. We’ve been very disappointed.More

Not in the town Center but heading out towards the old Marsala Cantine is this stunningly presented restaurant, owned by Nino (an ex Master Butcher) you are always assured a great steak cooked to perfection (if you get that far) The antipasto for two is...big enough for four so if you add in a couple of extras (I recommend the arancine di triglia) you may not need anything else, Service is always discreet and with a smile, the food arrives on huge chopping boards or very, very large plates.....not in the Nouvelle Cuisine style of large plate small portions, this is a Sicily, there are no small portions. The wine list is mostly local and ample, the decor very pleasing and they have no problem with large groups. Not the cheapest in town, but we’ll worth a visit.More

Service was slow and the food was not very good. Nice view on the sea and the harbour. There are better places.

Simply superb food, wine and service. Beautiful inside and very busy, creating a great atmosphere. The owner/chef was very welcoming and visible throughout our meal. Go and give it a try.

Just a hundred yards or so up the road from the Grand Palace Hotel, why walk any further? The food was excellent and the portions huge, in fact they were far too large. Good wines to go with the meal and attentive, efficient and friendly...service. We ate here on two evenings - why look further?More

We were a group of four visitors to the town, wanting to try the local wine and maybe some side dishes and were kicked out but what seemed to be the owner in the worst possible way. We asked politely to sit and try the...wine and he made us leave telling us this is not a wine selling place, even though the sign outside advertises wine. He ended up swearing at us even after we thanked him politely besides his behavior. No restaurant, no matter how good is acceptable to treat customers that way! Stay away.More

The heading of this review sums it up. We had dinner one evening and enjoyed it so much we returned a few days later for lunch. The arancine ragu was a generous and very tasty starter. The ravioli grouper and the bustiate pasta bucanieri were...both delicious. Tiramisu finished our meal to a high standard. Service was efficient and friendly and Claudia's English was a help and the menu was also in English. Our lunch subsequently was equally successful and staff were helpful in providing shared dishes.More

In a superb location overlooking the harbor, this is a very pleasant restaurant with good service. We had the Arancini (meat) which were very good; followed by the pasta with wild boar sauce which was also good; the disappointment was the calamari fritti which despite...being quite fresh were rubbery and unappetizing. The patate al forno were a bit soggy. The wine options, however, were very good. So, while we liked many of the parts, the overall experience was somehow lacking.More

On the water and if you sit outside on the terrace a memorable experience. Not only is the setting wonderful but the food was really stupendous, some of the best we had in Sicily. We highly recommend anything with the pastiche creme with white fish,...ordered elsewhere later in the trip only to be disappointed. Really Lovely place.More
