The food was lovely, for such a small town we would have been happy with any decen t meal. We got much more than we expected. The wine was great, the food all fresh and made in-house by the family that owns tje resturant. I'll...be thinking about this food in the future for sure. Don't miss it, for the food and the experience most of all.More

We followed the reviews, and went to this small restaurant. Just a few tables, The owners do not speak English, there is no written menu, so we let surprise us. We saw the size of the portions at our neighboor's table, and we decided to...have the full Italian diner (primo/secondo/dolce) The primo was a nice pasta with fresh tomato sauce and some meat (delicious), the secondo was rabbit. A lot of bones, but very well prepared and very tasty. It was accompanied with beans (nicely seasoned) and jacked patato. The dolce was a nice home made chocolat cake and a piece of bush fruits cake (crostata con frutti di bosco). Very tasty. The house wine (bianco frizzante) was good. If you are in Varese Ligure: Find the restaurant and enjoy!More

Great little restaurant with home cooked food and a very nice atmosphere and staff. The food and wine were both really reasonable and delicious.

Had lunch here after taking the bus #50 from Sestri Levante. Excellent relaxed meal. Would not hesitate to recommend.

We stumbled upon this little restaurant while exploring the backstreets of Varese Ligure. Only locals were eating here. The young server spoke little English, but was very friendly and helpful. As vegetarians, we asked for no dead animals on our plates. He proceeded to write...down the day's vegetarian dishes on a sheet of paper. How about that for service! We had a veggie starter plate (minus the salumi), pasta pomodoro, pasta pesto, house red wine, bread, and olive oil. Everything was very tasty. This little restaurant provides excellent value and lots of authentic local atmosphere. Highly recommended.More
