We had a takeaway roast and it was delicious! Big portions especially for the nut roast which always seems to be really little everywhere else. Really yummy, accommodating service and great food!

What a find, we decided to give the delivery service a try and were not disappointed, we ordered two mixed grills, the portions were very generous, we both have a healthy appetite but struggled to finish, the food was delivered promptly and was delicious, the...chips were some of the best we've had for a long while and still crunchy, as were the enormous homemade onion rings. The only slight criticism was that the steak was a little chewy but not enough to ruin the meal or to stop us ordering from here again.More

Had one of the best mixed grills ever, and it was a take away! Cooked to perfection, very generous portions. If you’re in or around Bodmin, give this place a go, proper meals to take away during lock down. This place must be packed out...when things are normal. Excellent.More

Had a fantastic delivery again tonight and felt the need to write something. Although a little later than expected once again the food was outstanding. The meaty ribs just fell from the bone and the home made bbq sauce is excellent. My partner had the...Gammon for the second time and again so tasty and both were very generous portions. Yes the onion rings had sweated and no longer crispy but hey, its a delivery and food steams. 10 out of 10 once again, thanks.More

Me and my partner ate at the Lanivet Inn on Tuesday night. The staff were very friendly, attentive and kept to Covid guidelines. I ordered the Lamb Tagine and my partner ordered the beast burger... We definitely underestimated the portion sizes. The burger was huge!...Great value for money and the Tagine tasted amazing. I also couldn't resist a Sticky Toffee Sundae which was also lovely! We will definitely be returning!More

After trekking through the Cornish outback from the little port of Padstow where I parked my ship, we stumbled across the rather majestic looking wildlife reserve known as the lanivet inn. Home to some of the rarest giant pandas in the world. My beady eyes...were drawn to the caveman like drawings of the quintessential teddy bear. I had my first suspicions when entering the enclosure, to find the seats were nowhere near big enough to support a panda. As a big fan of caged animals I was rather disappointed not to see any as I wanted to adopt Vlad the dancing bear. When I asked the ranger behind the bar where the animals were, a look of surprise caught my eye. I was then told that there was not in fact any pandas here, just a bamboo factory. Smoke without fire. Bonnie without Clyde. It was like getting paddled by a hollow stick. Suddenly mortified, I ordered a loaded ciabatta which cheered me up again. It reminded me of panda. Panda is love. Panda is life. I then went to continue my saintly booze cruise to Fowey, in hope of finding chi. Would come again.More

We visited last September whilst in the area. It’s a lovely pub with a warm welcome and lovely food. A quick look at their website tells me that dogs are welcome in their bar area. In my opinion, this is the part of the pub... More
