We went here for dinner on our wedding anniversary, during a walking holiday in Kingussie. The restaurant has a calm, welcoming atmosphere; excellent menu and winelist; very impressive whisky collection. The food and service were superb. Not cheap, but good value for a special meal.

I loved this place. The food is beautifully presented and all absolutely delicious. The service is very friendly and atmosphere cosy. It is fairly expensive but I would not say that it is overpriced. It is £55 for 3 courses but that also includes canapés,...More

The upstairs lounge was deserted so we took drinks by the front door. The restaurant is the best part of the building with a central fire enjoyed from both sides. Service and food was fine, chef doing a decent job. Breakfast was rather ordinary though.
