RIvaaz meals are very good, probably the best Indian food in Lymington…….. BUT - it’s suddenly become very expensive, £3.20 for boiled rice, £9.50 for Chicken Madras - WTF!!!!!
Nice food but not at those prices thank you very much.
I have lived in Lymington for 10 years and have experienced the different takeaways this town has to offer. Rivaaz, without a doubt has the best quality food paired with the most attentive staff. Would highly recommend
had a takeaway last night and was disappointed as it was not up to the usual standard. Threw away about half of if. Paratha was too dry and doughy to eat , channa masala was flavourless and seemed like it had been sitting around a...long time and had dried out, fried onions were under cooked and watery. All in all seemed like food from a very different restaurant.More
I got a take away for the whole family on Saturday night, which is all that’s available at this time. It took about 45mims from order. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent had loads of flavour and cooked really...well. You can taste the spices and like more traditional Indian restaurants you can see them which personally I like. The food is a very high standard and although it’s at the higher end of the price range it’s worth it. Highly recommend this restaurant.More
We had this for takeaway as a treat. We ordered a lamb dom pukta and vegetarian jalfrezi along with bombay aloo, onion bahji and veg samosas. The flavour of the dom pukta was really nice and one of the best curries I have tasted, the...smaller lamb chunks were very soft however the bigger chunks of lamb were very chewy. The veg jalfrezi had a great balance of flavour, spice and was perfect. The Bombay potato's and onion bahji were nice and just as expected. The disappointment came with the veg samosas, they were very small and looked and tasted like they were frozen commercially made and quite expensive for what we got.
Overall as our first experience of rivazz we will definitely return but may change our choices slightly.More
