We were a large family group and everyone raved about the food. The staff were so helpful and went out of their way with the arrangements and were so professional. We had such a lovely time

What a lovely restaurant! Really good decor and ambiance, a good choice on the menu. I had the Moules Mariniere to start, my husband had the duck pate. I have never seen pate presented in such an unusual way. I then had catch of the...day, he had roasted rump of lamb. We finished with Blueberry and Violet Parfait. It was all delicious. So much so that we booked again for the following evening as we were there on holiday and didn’t want to go anywhere else!More

Staying in Ross on Wye for a birthday weekend for my Mum and not knowing the area looked here on Trip Advisor. No.3 was rated number one and it deserves it! When we first got in we were a little concerned about the space between...tables and that the prices were upwards of £20 for most of the mains and nearly £10 for a dessert. But that all disappeared once we had our meals. There were 5 of us and we ordered 2x burgers, the pork tenderloin, the lamb and the brisket. All of our meals were cooked perfectly, good sized portions and tasted wonderful. The burgers were particularly delicious, some of the best we’ve ever had. After the mains we had desserts, the Forest Fruit Choux buns (absolutely stunning), the sticky toffee pudding from the vegan menu and the chocolate tart also from the vegan menu. They were all superb and despite our concerns over price afterwards we felt that £38 (with a tip) per head was actually excellent value. To make the night even better the staff made up my Mums dessert with a Roman candle and a chocolate sauce happy birthday and brought it out to sing happy birthday which was unprompted and greatly appreciated. All in all a brilliant night out and we would thoroughly recommend a visit. A useful tip: the street parking is free and as long as you want from 6pm. So you can get a short walk or even right outside the restaurant if you time it right! And don’t forget to ask for the vegan dessert menu too!More

Saturday night at No3…this is a professional restaurant. The decor, the service , the food, are all Michelin quality in our humble opinion. The artisan bread was excellent, as was the oil and balsamic that came with them. Even the salt crystallised butter was delish....Never, ever seen “Brandade” on a menu outside France before and their Haddock version, with a very tasty mixed salad, was terrific. My Hake and my wife’s Brisket were superb with too many positives to mention. We even had a desert, which we rarely do, but only because the kitchen was so good. Must mention the front of house…excellent! FOH, BOH, this is a pro team… AND reasonably priced. Where else can you get a superb burger and fries for £18! You don’t do what you do for so long without being good…but this place is more than good…this place is EXCELLENT!More

Each and every time we have eaten at this restaurant, we have always had great food and great service. We booked a table for 8pm and the place was already buzzing. We were welcomed with a smile and shown to our table which was the...only one available - it was a little snug for two, and other tables were pretty close by. Our starters of cider braised pigs cheeks and Korean BBQ beef strips were excellent, and once we had eaten these the waitress did ask if we would like to move to a larger, less hemmed in table, but we declined as we had already started our meal. Both our steaks were cooked to perfection, washed down with a lovely Pinot Noir. We even had room for dessert - a forest fruits & hazelnut choux bun and a warm Madagascan vanilla bean rice pudding. Liqueur coffees finished off an excellent meal. Even though the restaurant was very busy we were served in a timely manner, and whenever we are in the area we will always try and eat here.More

What a restaurant..... obviously we read the reviews so we're very keen to book. We were not disappointed on any level. The food was extraordinary, artichoke Pannal cotta and cheese soufflé started us off and between us, the rice pudding (which turned out to be...3 puds in one) the choux bun and my favourite, the treacle tart, finished us off. A mention has to go out to the ham doughnut shot as a pre-dessert. Out first time in Ross-on-Wye, No.3 will be largely responsible for making it the first of many.More

Called in on the off chance at lunchtime and secured the last table. My hake on risotto with greens was wonderful as was the pan-fried cod with leeks, potatoes and herbs that my wife enjoyed. We shared a deconstructed treacle tart with ice-cream and crème...fresh to finish. Superb meal in lovely surroundings. Made our day!More
