We visited Fat Mamas during our holiday and it was incredible.
I had been here nine years ago and remembered it being great so wanted to come back to see if it was still the same and it was.
I had ribs (small portion but was still huge) my boyfriend had fajitas (good portion size again) both were delicious and of the best quality. We shared a dessert (ice cream sundae) which was again fantastic and had two large soft drinks each. The total of the bill was €60 which we thought was absolutely amazing value for money. The atmosphere was also very good with constant entertainment throughout the night. Service was efficient and staff polite.
Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area!

Visited today at tea time, had seen a big line all through the week in the evening so went early. Was told 10% off as it was before 7, and buy 1get 1 free on selected drinks. I had the regular ribs as I didn't wanna bloat my self, but wow it had two full stack of ribs. I asked what the large would be and the waiter said double what's on your plate 😆 Would deffo recommend, massive portions and good price.

Visited many times in the past & it’s always a great experience. Food amazing though portions are huge so if ordering a starter beware. Staff are great and entertainment is fun. Prices obviously vary I ordered a pizza which was only about £10 but my friend has to have the rattlesnake steak when he visits which was £30. Also can’t order wine by the glass so a bottle set us back £24 which would be fine if you can share. We went quite late about 9.30 and had to wait about 15 mins if you go peak time then expect a longer wait but if you’re in no rush then it’s worth it

We wanted my brother and I to take away a meal. We were almost chased out of the restaurant under the pretext that there were too many people while the terrace was empty. So we sat at the table and asked for a meal and then we asked to take this meal, as it was cheaper, than the minimum Carte Bleu they did not want to cash our meal. The boss came here very upset. Not happy. There still passed another credit card this establishment under its sequins is horrible and horrible horribly expensive and completely unpleasant. The team is trained to make you. Consume a minimum, otherwise smiling is very expensive.

We went to this restaurant for our Daughters birthday, as we had been told it was a good place for top quality food. It is also frequented by someone called Stavros flatly, he apparently made an appearance on UK TV at some point for Greek Dancing, but a Nobody now as far as I know.
Turned up and was greeted and sat down on a very small table for four people close to the dance floor where the entertainment would be. We order our food and drinks.
When the food turned up there was very little room on the table for the food and drinks and the temperature was far too hot to be outside. The food came and it was ok, but nothing really special and the fillet steak was not good Quality a little tough, but bearable. No draft beer and The entertainment was like one of your 6 year olds giving you a rehearsal at home for a school dance show. Not sure what it was about to be honest. But everyone was friendly.
I would not recommend this place for the above reasons and I would not visit again, as the cost for the quality of the food is very overpriced. Maybe people come to see this so called man who had a small appearence on TV years ago?.
Very disappointing visit in all.

We were recommended to visit by some friends. We went as Three families (two adults and a child each). I can’t take anything away from the staff or food, as both were friendly and good. We were told they have traditional Greek entertainment, including the infamous plate smashing… they don’t, it apparently stopped along time ago due to “the mess”.
Staff: the guys that served us were really friendly and we had a few laughs with them.
Food: good food, we had Fajitas (huge sizzling plate load!), enchiladas, burger, pizza and nuggets (for kids). The adult meals are all very generous portions, so you’ll not be hungry afterwards.
Entertainment: we thought it was ‘ok’ but really, it was a waste of time - it is a little unfair on the three girls performing, but maybe it’s because of our personal misinformation that we couldn’t connect the Can Can with a Greek restaurant.
If you want a good meal in a tidy eatery, then go here, I would say “don’t go” as that would be unfair. I’ll just say, sadly I would add it to my list if we go to Cyprus again. Make your own choice.

Confused by the good reviews on here. We were really disappointed with all our food. The focus seems to be on quantity rather than quality. Massive portions of really poor quality tasteless food.
The only thing worse than the food was the service. We waited a good 15 minutes at the entrance waiting to be seated (at a booked table), then waited another 30 minutes on someone taking our food order, then waited and waited for our food to be served.
Much better food and service nearby, we won’t be back.

I visited with 2 friends in September 2021. The restaurant was quiet. The service felt quite chaotic. It took a long time for our orders to be taken and a long time for the food and drink to come out. It was really difficult to get the attention of the staff members and when I politely said I had been waiting 30 mins for a mojito that still had not arrived. I was told it was taking a long time because they had to crush the ice ( like it was my fault for ordering a complicated drink lol) the food was not very tasty. I had the fajitas, it was all quite bland and expensive for what it was.

Tonight went with my family but something was not right tonight unorganised. Order drinks straight away. Another took food orders it came up 3 minutes flat even the drinks hadn't come. Felt unwelcome and were finished in 20m..we left before the show as we wanted a nightout an enjoy the restaurant and show but we would have to wait an hour. They had a few dancers come out but seen them before. Sorry bit dancers need updating. Was upset. Menu needs updating disappointing for all of us. We wanted a couple drinks relax eat and watch show. It was like the waiters didn't know what tables they need to change something x

What a brilliant place for dinner! Currently on holiday in Paphos with our family visiting our niece who works as a rep out here. On her recommendation we booked a table at fat mamas for dinner and what a great idea that was! From the moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly helpful staff, food portions were HUGE and the food was delicious! Definitely mastered quality and quantity!! 3 brilliant dancers put on shows throughout the night which we all really enjoyed. So much nicer than going to a normal restaurant where our teenagers would just sit on their phones!! My eldest enjoyed it so much he even brought one of their T-shirts!! I’d definitely recommend this restaurant to any families wanting a nice dinner out in Paphos, you really won’t regret it!!! Thanks for a great evening!

Firstly the staff are great - the service is fast and they are very friendly.
The food portions are huge, but unfortunately, it is quantity over quality.
I got mixed fajitas, the chicken and steak were so dry and chewy, they had barely any taste and I had to put salt on the give them some seasoning.
The ribs looked like boil in the bag ribs, with a sweet, sickly sauce covering them - they were so sickly we couldn't eat them.
The entertainment show was great and I definitely think you pay for the experience because the food was pretty woeful.

Thought Fat Mamas was so good that we tried it for a 2nd time just to make sure.
Firstly the staff are very engaging and friendly. Very jolly from the the man on the door the waiters/waitresses and the cooks.
The food is all cooked fresh and they are happy to give you time between courses, even asking when you will be ready for mains/deserts.
We have had the mushrooms and the brusetta for starts and the burger and ribs for mains. Partner had the mushrooms and the lasagne and previously the enchiladas.
I would have to say that this place is not called Fat Mamas for nothing. We have not managed to finish any of the dishes served. I believe that "Man V Food" would struggle. So always large portions.
They have some dancers for entertainment and some music, all of which is great fun and makes the evening more enjoyable.
We would definitely visit again and would highly recommend.

I’ll start with a summary. This is a fun restaurant, perfect for those with large appetites and no sense of taste.
This is a popular theme/gimmick restaurant in as much as every 20 minutes, 3 girls come out and dance for a couple of minutes. They even dressed as characters in large costumes at one point but the costumes were threadbare and it seemed quite awkward. The food was bland at best. I ordered the beef fajitas and there could not have been any seasoning added whatsoever - not even salt and pepper. I cannot remember a time where I was so disappointed in my food. I was given about 1 teaspoon of guacamole to cover 4 wraps. My wife and daughter had chicken salads and they were ok. The worst part were the drinks; we were happy to have arrived just in time for the 2 for 1 cocktail offer. I ordered mojitos and my wife ordered Margaritas. Neither appeared to contain more than a dribble of alcohol. - we certainly couldn’t taste it. The kids had Fanta but they said they didn’t taste like Fanta. Portion sizes are large but bulked up by cheap ingredients. Service was fine and atmosphere was fun, although the entertainers did ask the table behind us if their young child could pretend it was his birthday so they could perform their cheesy happy birthday routine - the poor lad didn’t look happy

Welcoming atmosphere, mussels starter was much improved and the coke steaks were delicious. The dancers are always a nice touch and are very entertaining. Service was good however the one note is towards the start of the main show we were brought our bill and shortly after the card machine by a member of staff different to our server (we hadn't asked for this and wanted another few drinks). We paid this bill then ordered drinks on another bill, we felt pushed out and it wasn't a particularly nice experience, the server apologised and said it happens a lot. I'm not sure if they're worried about people leaving during the shows before paying or whether it's a procedure but I would strongly suggest improving the practice.

Fat mamas is a great restaurant to go to if you are looking for an entertaining (but very expensive) evening in pathos. The food was very tasty, the service was friendly and the entertainment was brilliant. There was always something going on. Our only complaint was the price of the food the meal was very expensive and probably could be a bit cheaper but overall the experience was brilliant and is a must do when in pathos.
