We sat on the balcony and it was a perfect setting for people watching and eating. Steak was lovey, and the vegetables which came with it were fab.

On our honeymoon and wanted a good steak… this is not the place. Ordered T-bone medium rare and it came out very very quickly… as a chef myself I knew it was blue rare, I checked and indeed it was. Sent it back to be...cooked properly as ordered, they cooked the same steak and gave it back. Due to it being cooked incorrectly the first time, rested and then recooked, medium rare was now medium, tough as leather and tasted like charcoal. For a €70 meal I expect much better. We are in Cyprus for a long holiday and will not give them another chance. They should not call themselves a steak house, they don’t know what they are doing.More

My family and I went to this steakhouse, our order consisted of the Berrie Salad, the T-bone and 2x the American rib eye. First of all, after ordering they informed us that the salad was no longer available, therefore we changed for the orange and...steak salad. After 30 minutes from the moment we had ordered they brought us the bread and butter. After 45 min of our order they brought us the salad. 1h plus past since our order, our food had still not arrived, therefore we decided to ask. We were informed that one of our plates had been served to another table but that the 2 others were ready and waited for the last one to be finished. After 1 hour and a half we received our steaks which of course were cold. When we informed the staff they disagreed with us, we did not insist further. When we finished our plates a waitress came to clean up ans told us that she was informed by our collegues, through gossiping, that our plates were cold. She, without being the waitress that took care of our order, said that she had « doubts » on the fact that our plates were cold, implying that we are lying. Finally, we decided to pay for our cold plates although we were offered the possibility to not pay.More

Firstly the decor is dated and staff need a lot more training. Firstly I asked if they had Maker's Mark whiskey and with attitude was told-whatever is on the menu. My selection was about 6 different whiskeys. No whiskey sour, no ceaser salad, and no...cheescake (very typical if you are a steakhouse). I requested the Tomohawk but no, and ordered the 600gram T-bone and received something around 400grams. Meat was tough and very wet with the taste of burnt metal. First and last for me. Not recommended.More

Everything needed a lot of salt. Overpriced, but decent. Fat wasn't rendered on the steaks. Many other superior options in the area. Wouldn't recommend.

Always loved Hobos for a family steak dinner but sadly not anymore. Quality of food has deteriorated ...steak not great as it used to be and accompanying vegetables quite sad. We had booked early and the music was loud and pounding. I asked for it...to be turned down which the lovely staff did. But the pounding tempo continued and was far from relaxing. On the point of leaving I asked the waitress if she could change the music to something more relaxing which she kindly did. During our meal a group of people arrived with many children who they allowed to run around screaming and roll about on the floor. Not the restaurant’s fault at all but added to the less than perfect evening which was a birthday celebration for my son. We won’t return...it was our go to restaurant for family celebrations. Good points, the staff were excellent and we had a nice bottle of wine. Bad points, music, cocktails with scant alcohol and below par food.More

Well done Hobo team. With all the pandemic measures in place these guys are working really hard to have the place open and make it a pleasurable experience. It’s not easy working in heat with a mask and gloves. We had a lovely table. Service...was good. Food was good. It was a little pricey but not excessive for the location etc. What would have made it great for me would have been having the table where I requested when booking, this was eventually sorted. This may seem odd to some people but my whole reason for booking was along with the food seeing the beach front at night is lovely. The plates were barely warm and my veg was cold. Sauce was cool. It may be due to having gloves the plates cannot be warmer. There were four of us. We ordered drinks at the same time but they came separately and there was a gap between them. We would have waited for all four at the same time. Saves you serving twice. So overall I would say it was a very good return visit which I recommend but I do urge people to be supportive as they have to do two sittings due to restrictions and they are having to manage the new rules while wearing warm masks and gloves.More

Food was delicious however the portion sizes aren’t big and a little expensive for what you get. Nice atmosphere but not to attentive staff. Once you finished if you decide against having dessert they almost forget you’re there,
