On our last night in Reykjavik we decided to go out for a nice meal. We had passed this restaurant numerous times and decided to try it. Reservations are recommended but they were very accommodating because it was just the two of us. Service was...More

Having spent a lot of money in the previous few days on very average food, this place actually warranted the price tag! Pleasant dining area, with attentive service and whilst slightly off the main thoroughfare of town it was still central. The menu had a...More

Everything we had was wonderful. Flavors were subtle and so interesting. Service was excellent. They were very helpful in accommodating dietary restrictions. There is a large room upstairs suitable for a group of 20-40 people.

Highly recommend this restaurant. The service was great and the restaurant is located in a old house with rich history. This is a good place to try out some traditional Icelandic food.

I'm not sure about the lamb having on lunch time but the offer for groups of three dishes is the most accessible, to the site of the restaurant is a lot of information about the full range of possibilities which offers chef.
