I selected this restaurant for a small group of us because of the reviews and proximity to our hotel (where several people were coming from). Ironically, this restaurant also turned out to be where the tour group had its farewell dinner. This review covers our...More

Beautiful, traditional building and interior, with a fresh and modern twist. The customer service was exceptional from the moment we got there - taking our coats, making adjustments to the menu to suit our needs, and serving timely food. My husband had the lobster set...More

Skolabru gave us a delicious dinner for our last night in Iceland. At first look on the inside, it was slightly more elegant than we thought, but there were people in hiking pants and boots, so we figured our dark jeans and nice tops served...More

Fantastic meal and lovely ambiance. Staff is very attentive and friendly. I chose from the “Adventure” 3 course menu and I was no disappointed. One of the best duck I’ve had.

Skolabru was a dinner that happened by chance, and were we ever lucky! Decorated serenely and beautifully on the entry floor, like a house it once was, the restaurant had NO DIN like most Reykjavik places. We could hear ourselves talk at our table of...More

An excellent restuarant with good food and friendly service in a relaxed atmosphere. Iceland is expensive and for the same price as many pavement restaurants Skolabru offer comfortable and relaxed dining with superb food. Try the rack of lamb for a mouth watering meal.

I'm not sure about the lamb having on lunch time but the offer for groups of three dishes is the most accessible, to the site of the restaurant is a lot of information about the full range of possibilities which offers chef.

Enjoy distinctly Icelandic food based on our Icelandic cultural heritage and local culinary traditions. We offer also a wide variety of dishes from the international scene of fine dining. - Our Icelandic lamb together with our seafood dishes are among the things people like the most.
