We stayed next door at Sandhotel so Sandholt became our go to place each morning for a quick breakfast. That said, we stuck mostly to the bread and jam as well as the chocolate croisants and apple pastries so we can't speak for the breakfast...More

Like many people flying into Iceland, we arrived very early and Sandholt was the only place open. While I'm usually wary when I have to go somewhere out of necessity, there was no need to fear. Sandholt is exceptional. The skyr, breads, marmalades and cheese...More

The only thing to say about this bakery / coffee house is don’t go if you are on a diet - both the coffee and cakes are just out of this world. Atmosphere friendly and the staff lovely. Gets busy so timing is important.

Sandholt bakery is simply fabulous. The pastries are light and flavorful, the coffee hot and wonderful and service excellent. A must stop when nearby.

We first visited this bakery/cafe a couple of years ago and we were not disappointed so we wanted to return. The shop and cafe have been extended and you can clearly see the passion in their food. All prepared fresh or baked on the day,...More

Great place with lots of delicious sandwiches and cakes. Their sourdough bread is great, as well as their hot chocolate. Would come there again for lunch.

This cafe offers various meal types and has great pastries and bread. I ate a ham and cheese sandwich on sour dough which was excellent and had a fried egg on the side. Service was VERY good too!

Like most food in Iceland, it's expensive. 2 coffees, 2 cappucino and two muffins was about $30 USD
