We only stopped in this cafe for a cup of coffee and a little cake, which were both delicious. The girls at the table next to us ordered the famous 'rotten' shark and couldn't finish all of it so they offered us the rest. It...More

Must go and try the rye bread ice cream. It was amazing! This place was part of a food tour we went on and I wished we had more time to try the other foods

After experiencing a 3-week long road trip, we thought it was a brilliant idea to end our adventure with a final traditional meal. We should have known from that minute we saw everyone taking a picture of their sad open-faced sandwiches that this was a...More

Landed up here on our last day in Iceland. We had successfully managed to miss eating any Icelandic food while in Iceland ( thanks to a horribly planned trip). We had managed to land up eating nothing but hamburgers and hotdogs from gas stations. I...More

We went there for lunch. And it was amazing, everyone ordered a different dish and we taste tested everything. The traditional Icelandic tea is soooo good and the water is for free. The place got free WiFi.

Incredible food. Tried the dried fish with bread and fermented shark. A taste of the brennivin was perfect to finish a healthy breakfast. Service is good and the people is very friendly.

Reykjavik is not the best city for parking. Most of it is street parking, and you'll need to buy a permit at the kiosk. If you're not impaired, walking is usually faster and less frustrating.

Description
Cafe Loki offer Icelandic meat soup, Icelandic sample plates, homemade bread and cakes. Icelandic traditional homemade dishes are our specialty. You can taste fermented shark and dried fish but Icelandic meat soup and our Icelandic plates are most popular among the Rye Ice cream and Skyr cake. Beautiful view over Reykjavik, Hallgrimskirkja church and to mountain Blafjoll. Icelandic food.
