About
Kaffitár is an Icelandic coffee roaster and operates five cafés and two bakeries. You can expect a cozy atmosphere, direct trade specialty coffee and artisan breads, pastries and cakes. Kaffitár cafés are located at Perlan, Bankastræti, Höfðatorg Borgartún, Kringlan shopping center, The National Museum at Suðurgata. Our artisan bakeries, Kruðerí Kaffitárs, are located at Stórhöfði and Nýbýlavegur. We import and roast our own speciality coffee. We trade directly with farmers who share our values on environmental issues and social responsibility. Our bread and pastries are handmade daily in our artisan bakery, Kruðerí Kaffitárs. Our food is made from scratch from quality ingredients without additives.

This is such a cosy little cafe and a nice stop to warm up after walking round in the cold. Make sure you order the cinnamon bun you won’t regret it! :) coffees are lovely and staff are friendly.

We have gluten free bread with Fx hummus, cucumber and/or pesto. Chia porridge w.blueberrys and raw sweets hope you will find something you like. Our vegan/gluten free options are in process to expand the range. My best S
