Fantastic coffee, sandwiches and cake. I recommend árbítur in the morning and the chocolate cake with cream. Cozy and great staff.

This cafe was located very close to the hostel I was staying in. They have an assortment of coffee and little snacks to choose from. I was happy with the service and food.

I wanted something traditional in iceland without braking the bank. This cafe looked interesting. I had sourdough bread with cheese,jam and jelly, it was wonderful. The staff also was nice.

We have had some oat milk cortados today and they were totally delicious. That's the way coffee should be! Staff was really nice, all in all a pleasant visit.

We have gluten free bread with Fx hummus, cucumber and/or pesto. Chia porridge w.blueberrys and raw sweets hope you will find something you like. Our vegan/gluten free options are in process to expand the range. My best S

Kaffitár is an Icelandic coffee roaster and operates five cafés and two bakeries. You can expect a cozy atmosphere, direct trade specialty coffee and artisan breads, pastries and cakes. Kaffitár cafés are located at Perlan, Bankastræti, Höfðatorg Borgartún, Kringlan shopping center, The National Museum at Suðurgata. Our artisan bakeries, Kruðerí Kaffitárs, are located at Stórhöfði and Nýbýlavegur. We import and roast our own speciality coffee. We trade directly with farmers who share our values on environmental issues and social responsibility. Our bread and pastries are handmade daily in our artisan bakery, Kruðerí Kaffitárs. Our food is made from scratch from quality ingredients without additives. We attend to environmental issues in every step. Our cafés are certified by the Nordic Swan Ecolabel and have been awarded “Kuðungurinn”, the environmental recognition of the Ministry for the Environment and Natural Resources.
