Stopped in for a latte and vegetarian quiche. Both were nice. Good buttery crust on the quiche with large chunky vegetables. Everyone may not like that style but I found it unique and tasty.

I was hungry and at 7:05 am was the only place open. Walked in and got a dry cold stale croissant for 490 kronor. Yes that's about $4.50 to $5.00 depending on the exchange rate. I call this a tourist rape because at 7:05 AM...More

Excellent coffee and pastries with friendly staff. We are fussy coffee drinkers and have to say one of the best on the trip. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.

Kaffitár cafés are located at Perlan, Bankastræti, Höfðatorg Borgartún, Kringlan shopping center, The National Museum at Suðurgata. Our artisan bakeries, Kruðerí Kaffitárs, are located at Stórhöfði and Nýbýlavegur. We import and roast our own speciality coffee. We trade directly with farmers who share our values on environmental issues and social responsibility. Our bread and pastries are handmade daily in our artisan bakery, Kruðerí Kaffitárs. Our cafés are certified by the Nordic Swan Ecolabel and have been awarded “Kuðungurinn”, the environmental recognition of the Ministry for the Environment and Natural Resources.
