Was in this restaurant together with a group. I think the service was efficient. Everything I had to eat on this evening, was very tasteful. And the portions was big enough. The only downside must be that the toilet was very small, and can be...More

After a tour we stopped for an early dinner based on reviews. The food and service were very poor at best. I ordered mussels, there were a fair number of bad ones in my order which unfortunately were at the bottom. The top ones were...More

We ate dinner here on a Saturday night. The location of this restaurant is gorgeous. Right on the pier overlooking the ships. The food was just average in my opinion though. My friend got the lamb and that was prob the best choice. My husband...More

Had 2 absolutely superb meals here. Food was just amazing. Beef open sandwich. Chicken with puréed potatoes in red wine sauce. Pulled lamb with lamb chops. Can’t fault the food at all and staff so friendly and welcoming.More

I really wanted to try some mussels while in Iceland and Hofnin didn't disappoint. They were fresh and delicious! My husband had the chicken dish with potatoes. He really enjoyed it. Great atmosphere with a view of the water.

No, dining out in Reykjavik is not cheap but the standards are very high and dishes here in Hofnin were exceptional. The tomato & coconut soup was totally delicious. Top dinner, all 3 courses. Helpful &friendly staff and the view !

The restaurant is in a beautiful location with a great view of the harbour. Staff were friendly and nice. We had a starter which was basically prawn cocktail which cost 24k krone (£17). Our mains were good (mussels, sea stew) without being exceptional. If the...More

This restaurant was very good. We had all sorts of items off the menu including muscles, cod, and haddock. No one was disappointed. It was your typical Iceland price for food, but well worth it!
