While the menu is relatively limited compared to other places, all fish main courses were good and tasty. Also worth nothing, prices are on the "better value" side.

First dinner in Reykjavik and Salt did not disappoint. Located close to our hotel by the marina, it was a short walk to the restaurant. The atmosphere was relaxed and rustic with pleasant service. Our food was excellent: lamb tenderloin, salmon, bacalao and vegetable skewers....More

Atmosphere was cozy and nice. Food was great, drinks were good. Fish & chips were spot on. Service was good. The price was good compared to the rest of Iceland.

I know restaurant prices are high here but over $20 for langoustine with only 4-5 langoustine in it? Flavor was good. Vegetables were spartan for the main course. Ling was fine.

We stopped in for an early dinner after a chilly whale watch for fish and chips. Surprise! It was International Whale Day and we got 25% off our selection. The cod was delicious also.
