Maybe it was because we were there end of season and the restaurant was almost empty but this wasn't as good as other reviews suggest. Very friendly. Rapid service. But, much as I want to write an excellent review, it wasn't great. We found other...places much better.More

Went here on our last night (and also on our first night 5 years ago). It was one of the few places open after the 'Medicane' as it had its own generator. The place was packed, mainly with locals and Greek families - always a...good sign! Lovely, warm atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and efficient. Food was superb - very generous portions (including freshly cooked pork from the spit) and great value for money. Look forward to going again when next in Kefalonia, would highly recommendMore

We were staying in Fiskardo and thought we'd check this place out for our last night. It's a very easy 15 minute drive down the main road. I'd been seeking out Kefalonian meat pie and finally found it here. Superb. We also had giant beans,...the famous garlic mash, and a bottle of the very palatable 'Robola' - Kefalonian white wine. A brilliant, memorable experience. A must if you're visiting anywhere in the North.More

During our 5 days in Asos I went to Maki for dinner 3 times. It was the best place in Kefalonia to try real Greek homemade food. I heard that the owners have a farm and they provide ingredients from there. And you can really...tell that Feta, meet, bread everything is so fresh and tasty!More

Didnt understand what all the good reviews are about, the food was substandard and looked like a mess on a plate. The workers sat around a table smoking and then got up to serve us. No washing, no disinfecting. Back to the food....the rabbit seemed...to be warmed up in a microwave, and the chicken was so dry it was getting stuck in my parterners thought. No imagination in presentation, something from the 70’s or 80’s. Cheap, but you do get what you pay for.More

Really nice ambient, food and staff. Recommended 100%. Must visit after the beach in dafnoudi, the place was very crowded.

We have had a pleasant dinner with friends in this traditional taverna. The personnel was gentle and the food arrived soon. We ordered both fish and meat, and everything was delicious.

Quite possibly the most amazing restaurant on Kefalonia. Absolutely delicious food served in a gorgeous setting by the most friendly and welcoming staff. Very highly recommended. Try the courgette balls. You won’t be disappointed

Had dinner here last night. Around 10 miles from Fiskardo but easy in a taxi. Fantastic food and service. We had tzatziki, Greek salad, courgette balls and then rabbit and grilled Chicken. Also stuffed tomatoes. All perfect. Great service and very reasonable prices. If you...are in Kefalonia you have to go.More

Very good quality and big portions. I had the pork cooked with lemon sauce and my husband the rabbit with red sauce. Both were super tasty and cooked with very good quality of ingredients. (Using fresh tomatoes, etc). The Greek salad was the 5star as the...tomatoes were super super tasty and deep red! They offered us a desert at the end but I don’t remember what to be honest :). Service was excellent. It is far away from where we stayed otherwise I would visit again.More
