Been to Kantoun every year since introduced by my daughter 2017. Food always excellent, fresh and hot where it needs to be. Staff very good. The fish is probably the best in Parga. Probably, but then excellent in other old Greek restaurants also.
What a fabulous traditional Greek taverna, situated on a quiet cool, sidestreet and looking out onto the bustling shopping area. The family owned taverna is a little gem and the family team are friendly and very respectful who all have excellent English.
The menu is delicious and...traditionally Greek, cooked very well and priced very reasonably. The lamb chops aware the best in town and the calves liver special and panchetta(belly pork) are truly amazing
Since our last visit 2 years ago, we have waited patiently to go back and this years visit was everything we could have wanted.
The restaurant and restrooms are spotless too. Well done Christoph and family.More
Found this delightful restaurant wandering around the narrow streets of Parga. It is situated close to the sea front in a small square adjacent to one of the busy alleyways lined with shops etc. We shared two traditional starters- tzatziki and dolmades - and then...tried the chicken and pork souvlaki both of which came with salad and fries. The food was very good, service just right and at a very reasonable price of 34 euros including half a litre of Greek wine and a litre bottle of water.
We hadn’t booked and rightly assumed there would be a good selection of restaurants in Parga. Incidentally the taxi back to Valtos Beach was 6 euros for two people while the water taxi is 5 euros and runs to about 10.00pm.More
The food was excellent - fresh, tasty and very good value for money. It is an authentic family-run restaurant and, as a result, the service was really friendly, too. We went back there quite a few nights and I would highly recommend it.
Excellent traditional Greek food in this informal family run restaurant on a street behind the sea front. We sat outside in the evening and ate a lovely meal - I can recommend the courgette balls with tzadziki but the whole meal was great. I would...eat there agin for sure.More
