We chanced upon Sissifos because of a close-by engagement. We were warmly welcomed and thoroughly enjoyed Greek salad and spanakopita. The next night was vegetarian moussaka which had a superb béchamel topping. The last night, we sought out Sissifos and had first-rate souvlaki. We have...More

Had lunch here once, food was ok, but attitude of staff wasn't. Quite rude and abrupt with ourselves and other diners. Don't recommend a visit.

Great view from the roof terrace up two flights of stairs (bathrooms are on ground floor!). Nice atmosphere and generous sized servings.

We went on a Friday night and of the 3 floors including the roof top with a view of the Acropolis there was only one other table with guests. We should have suspected something as the surrounding places were much fuller. From the start they...More

Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains
the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay

squares, some notable museums and the beautiful
Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to
stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a
pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious
