This restaurant was not our original plan, but we are so lucky that we ended up here. I ordered a Carbonara Tagliatelle, and it was the best that I'd ever eaten. Although, don't expect a traditional Carbonara, but it is really an upgrade for the better. Ben is a carbonara know-it-all, and tried it at a lot of restaurants but he said it was better than the one his favorite pasta-restaurant serves. He ordered a traditional lachmatzou for himself, and he liked that one too. Staff is really friendly, and restaurant itself is located behind the Panatenaic Stadium so it is really calm and chill. We liked it a lot.

Had dinner here on the pleasant and relaxing terrace. Very tasty pizzas with interesting toppings. Not your run of the mill pizzeria. Also had lots of other healthy options and a good drinks list. Everything was very reasonably priced. Service was excellent. Our waitress was very friendly and patiently answered our many questions. Liked it so much we had lunch at the Exarchia location on our return to Athens.

Tucked away behind the panathenaic stadium in a buzzing gentrified district, Mystic is well worth venturing away from the Acropolis tourist trap.
Pizzas were spectacular and with a healthy twist. House wine by the carafe was well received. Excellent portions and value for money all round at under €30 euros for two.
Authentic Athenian local venue with bonus roof terrace. Service friendly and efficient. The owner lady took time to chat to us on our departure, genuinely interested in our feedback.
Thank you for a great evening of food and drinks. What a find, a must visit.

I wanted to like the place - the setting is very nice, in an old house in Pagkrati with a big roof terrace surrounded by plants. Staff was friendly and there is a nice atmosphere with families, groups of friends, couples. The food wasn't up to the décor though - maybe we didn't order well. We had a salad which was good but then I found the pizza quite average. Had the one with artichokes and it just lacked something. Had the home made pasta with eggplants, for which you have to pay a bit more than the regular pasta, and they weren't cooked right /weren't anything special. To be fair the eggplants chucks were very tasty but this wasn't enough..I might go back and try something else as the spot is great and the prices reasonable

The Mystic was surprisingly one of my favourite places to eat in Athens. The pizzas were indescribably tasty (I think in the top 5 pizzas I've ever had). The portion sizes were very generous, one pizza and half a garlic bread was certainly too much food! Also the bill was ridiculously cheap even with a couple of beers thrown in!
There was a very food range of gluten free food as well as vegetarian and vegan pizzas which made it very accessible for everyone. The four cheese garlic bread was certainly a highlight. I thoroughly enjoyed the Mystic and it's busy atmosphere. I didn't quite understand why there was a Buster Keaton movie in the background...

Our appartment was just by this cute little restaurant. The young lady that took our orders each time was very nice and we talked a lot about the differences between our home town and hers (our kids go to school at -24C and in Athens they close the schools at -1C ) The portions are pretty big so we shared a pizza for 4 with 2 greek salads one night. The other night we had some very tasty pasta (I didn't keep the menu, can't tell which one). The service was fast around 21pm. We had a view of the terrasse from our appartment and it was full around 22pm. It looked very nice !

We went twice to Mystic during our stay because we liked the food that much! They have lots of vegan options and dishes that can also be ordered vegan (GF is vegan). Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We really recommend this place.

Interesting restaurant, tasty every pizza we order, a little bit more "oily" the salad. Prices were ok, just a little bit expensive the beers.

This home made food was delicious! Great cocktails and I have to say the barman/waiter really put lots of effort into his drinks i could see his focus and attention to detail! Really friendly too and he gave us a cheesecake for free! Would definitely recommend!!

Came here after two weeks of Greek taverna food craving some pizza, and was certainly not disappointed. My boyfriend commented on how impressive the scope of cuisines on offer were; curries, Mexican dishes, and of course, pizza. Although TripAdvisor states it being mid to high pricing, I found €10.50 for most pizzas on the menu was extremely reasonable. Quality ingredients and large portions- couldn’t finish mine but they happily boxed it up for me. The whole place is decorated very tastefully, and it was a pleasure sitting upstairs on the terrace. The waiter seemed a bit hurried but was attentive and polite nonetheless. Definitely a good experience if you’re craving some pizza in Athens!

We visited couple of times, for lunch is more quite than for dinner specially during the weekend.
Tasty food with healthy and good ingredients, big fresh salats and good quantities for the rest of the dishes. Really friendly staff and really tidy restaurant. One of the best places to eat in the center of Athens and Pagrati!

Pangrati
The elongated Panathenaic Stadium, built for the first modern Olympic Games in 1896, acts as grand gateway to the otherwise purely Athenian neighborhood of Pangrati. This area of typical small squares, busy main roads and residential streets will give you a clear sense of what living in this metropolis is like. A walk up quiet Markou Mousourou Street on the west side of the stadium will bring you past the First National Cemetery to Mets, home to many expats. Turn right to reach the charming Platia Varnava. East of the stadium, commercial Eratosthenous Street leads to rather nondescript Platia Plastira, from where Effranoros Street continues uphill to Platia Profiti Ilia, crowned by a huge church. Among the standard four- to six-story apartment blocks that typify Athens, Pangrati also boasts some genuinely authentic tavernas and the odd trendy bar.
