My friend and I were able to get a table here on a Sunday night without a reservation and we were glad we did. A lot of restaurants are closed on Sundays and this place is pretty small, so reservations are probably smart during more...busy times. The place is small and cozy with a nice menu. My friend and I shared a bottle of wine and each got the steak frites, which were excellent. The steak was cooked at the right temperature and the fries were nice and crispy. They also took great care with the presentation and the dishes were served on a little stone plate, which was a nice touch.More

One of the best experiences in Lisbon. From the service, to the wine selection and the food. Wholly recommended all around!

We were in a rush and wanted some tapas. We stepped in, were seated quickly and ate some great food - the croquettes with the small quail egg inside are just devine. One dish was not ready in time (our fault for wanting to be...quick). The staff apologised and would not let us pay - incredible service - thank you.More

Stumbled across here walking down a very steep side street and glad we did as it was one of the best meals we had in Lisbon. The food was delicious and service was good. We had to sit outside as it was fully booked but...not a problem as they offered blankets etcMore

We had a fantastic dinner at this place! You can seat very good outside and inside it also looks really nice and modern and individual. Cool style! But most importantly the food was really well prepared, super tasty! Just great! We chose the oxtail dish...and the mousse au chocolate afterwards. And both was just absolutely delicious!More

The staff was charming - but 2 service hiccups are why i gave 4 stars and not 5- they couldn’t find our reservation so we had to show them the email from the restaurant to prove it and 2 out of 5 entrees were delivered...10 mins before the others) The food was great - i loved the Tuna and chocolate dessert with olive oil was an “experience” as the waiter defined- absolutely sublime and reason enough to go back!More

As a couple, we were seated to a table for 5. We ordered a cold starter and main dishes. They served the main dishes first. When I asked for the starter the waiter run back for it. He said sorry. Because it was a cold...starter we ate the main dish first - the tuna steak was delicious. After we finished the starter - which was also so good - we decided to order a dessert. A young waitress came, she took the plates but forgot to ask if we would like to order anything else. We waited almost 10 minutes when another waitress came and ask if she could separate the tables - almost 2-3 couples waited to be seated. During this "operation" she spilled out my wine. Didn't say sorry or bring another glass. At the and we asked for the menu to order a dessert and a coctail. We got the desserts - just like heaven - but the coctails didn't arrive. The waiter who passed by our table remembered that fact. We finished the dessert. The same girl who first took our plates came back took the empty plates and asked if we would like a dessert.... We waited another 10 minutes then we decided to ask for the bill... then we went to another place to taste that coctail... So if you have 2-2,5 hours to have a truly delicious meal than choose Ofícina.More

We were lucky to get a table here without a reservation (probably eating unfashionably early for Lisbon)! The food and drinks were incredible. I tried getting my wife to eat here again in our short trip just so I could have their amazing vodka/basil/mint cocktail...again.More

About 2 weeks into our trip in Portugal and we'd been looking at this restaurant for a while and finally today got a table. Saw all the great reviews, but this is not the experience we had. We were seated very quickly and the staff...moved the table to give us more room, placing the table and us at a very rickety angle. He said he would be right back with something to fix it as he knew it was at an awful lean and was shaking. Never ever came back. Then we ordered from another person. She was very pleasant, and our food came quickly. We had the pumpkin soup, Octopus starter, the Ox Tail and the Steak. The pumpkin soup presentation was lovely, but was so over salted that it made it almost inedible. We were similarly disappointed with the octopus starter. We've had about 5 different meals of octopus and the portion size of this piece as about the size and length of a small pinky finger. It was nice and tender, but underseasoned. The mains were a bit better, overall the Ox Tail was the best dish of the evening. Overall just pretty disappointing given the other reviews that we read. I think kitchen was just having a really bad night.More
