    Has a pleasant view over the main plaza. Service was good, food was just okay. I also didn’t care for the background music they were playing, which was too loud and edgy.

    A real let-down!

    Food didn’t come close to the overblown, flowery menu description and needed to be hotter. More emphasis on presentation than flavour. Worse was the service, even though the ‘patron’ took our order. Our meals took 50 minutes to arrive, but not our wine. That came...More

    Nice spot but...

    Ok I'm from Portugal and I'm a foddie. The spot is perfect and staff are great. However service it's a little bit slowly, in Portugal we cannot wait 12min for a beer during a 35ºC Day! However the food was great. I ordered a Vegan...More

    Good Quality, cool and funny serviceman Rinqu

    The Food is very good. We had local Cheese, Bread and burger. And the creme bruleé is very delicious. The serviceman Rinqu was friendly, funny and fast. But The water bottle was a plastic bottle.

    Good bacalao!

    During a weekend trip with friends in Lisbon we were looking for an authentic Portuguese restaurant in the city centre and found it in Populi. The food was great and the waiter Rinqu was very attentive! Absolutely recommended!

    Great food and attentive staff

    Had a lovely late evening meal. The food was tasty and Rinqu ensured it was a night to remember. You must try the bread and olive paste!

    Great place

    Yes, our wine was delicious too. The €18 bottle want available (mysteriously) so we ended up paying €26. Nice wine but incredibly overpriced for Lisbon and the quality of the restaurant. Do you work for the restaurant?

    Sorry to hear that you had a bad experience. I find the staffs nice and attentive. The ambient was good. Food was average, some good some bad.
