a breath of fresh air in a place where there is a lot of basic supply. super nice place. well located. high-level employees. incredible and unusual menu from starters to dessert. One of the few restaurants in Portugal that follow the basic concept of other...countries in offering water by default. to repeat once and for all.More

We followed tripadvisor reviews and we end up in this restaurant. Great food, some very good wines and the sympathy of the staff!

We've had lunch quite a few times this year at Casa Platano, recently actually stopping in Fátima on purpose to eat there. It really is a hidden gem, and trust me that I don't say this about many restaurants! The menu includes mostly Portuguese dishes...with a twist to make them contemporary, and they offer some simpler dishes for kids. The overall balance of all the dishes I've tried is very good. I particularly like the duck leg cooked at low temperature served with a Portuguese duck rice. The waiters are professional and easy-going, so you get a nice friendly service. We've been paying around 15-20 Euros per person with a main course and shared starters and desert, which is really good value for money considering the quality of the food. And Casa Platano is right next door to the Fátima shrine if you are planning a visit!More

This is a new restaurant in Fatima, built since we were last there. It is a really wonderful place to eat, fabulous food, great staff and super location. The only disadvantage is that it closes quite early, so you have to be prepared to be...finished by around 5pm. We were told this will be the case until the hotel is built around it, and judging by what we saw that won't take too long.We ate here 3 times during our 3 day stay!! We were never disappointed. It's not vital, but it does help when the staff speak our language, and they did! Thank you! There were three of us in the group and each one was 100% happy with their dining experience. It can only go from strength to strength and we look forward to dining there on our next trip to Fatima and perhaps we'll actually stay in the adjoining hotel, as I assume it'll be well finished by then. Thank you to all concerned and we wish you well.More

The manager behaved really bad with us. He kicked us out because of the number of people even though the restaurant was empty.

Casa Platano serves meal until 19h, from may to september. A full meal would be around 20-25€. We offer early dinners, but no dinner after 19h.
