Horror. Rubbish, typical tourist place, where they know that they do not ever see you any more. Very disappointingMore

We went here on our first night in Portugal and everything was delicious. It was the perfect first spot for local cuisine. We both got a pork dish and wish I remembered the names of them. Definitely the best place we ate in Evora.

Yesterday we had a perfect lunch in this restaurant : the atmosphere at table near the window and the food and the wine was excellent. The very kind waiter (owner) served us perfectly and gave us lots of interesting informations. We recommend this restaurant very...much, especially the very special "fruit tea" Gorreana, which will give you big forces. Not to miss when you are visiting Evora !More

We enjoyed this restaurant so much we went two nights running. Vaulted ceilings, marble tables, ornate tiled floor all cosy in shades of red. We ate the Iberian black pork cheeks and oxtail stew. Both delicious. The second night we tried the oven baked cod...and sirloin steak. Again, delicious. Both nights we started with the Alentejo soft smelly and divine cheese, yum, and ended with the salted caramel tart, a little too salty for my partner, but I loved it. Friendly staff and a very reasonable price for the quality. The waiter recommended an excellent local wine both nights. Highly recommended.More

In center of town. Had the arroz de pato. Large portion with PLENTY of duck and some chorizo. Washed down with vino verde. Place got packed with locals. Heartily recommended. Hope you enjoy as much as I did.

This restaurent was recommended to us by a local from Evora who suggested that it was good value and more authentic than some of the other places on the tourist trail. We enjoyed the food immensely and were impressed by the service. If you are...in Evora, it’s a good place to visit for an excellent meal.More

This restaurant located just off the Praça de Giraldo offers classic Portuguese food in a more upscale setting but prices are very reasonable. Staff extremely friendly in helping with menu and wine selections. Vegetarian options are available. The ox tail in red wine sauce is...exceptional. The baked bacalao is easily enough for two. Reservation are a very good idea!!More

Nice ambiance, food ok, service variable. We were here on a rainy day, maybe this influenced the mood of the waiters. It is a really nice place, the food was ok, the wine even better, but the serive was "cold". We need to come back...at a sunny day!More

On our last night in Evora we finally had dinner here. We had come for the black pork cheeks a dish we had tried at another restaurant that we loved but it was not available. We shared the pork cherks, salad and wine. Plenty for...two of us who have done a lot of eating recently. Atmosphere wonderful. Service excellent. Pork not quite as seasoned as we liked. We chatted with some fellow travelers who commented that their cod was way too fishy. May just not ha e been a good night. There was a party of 20 competing with smaller tables.More
