Wonderful sets of multiple foods, first starters and main dishes with a weighting to vegetarian food. Exteremely tasty!

We had dinner here with some colleagues. Obviously we had no idea what dish to choose, so we all picked some different dishes. It was all quite tasty, with friendly service.

The atmosphere and food was good. However, it was not that special and good that we would come back.

The food is mostly vegetarian and not Syrian. The food was nothing special, no special taste. The lamb dish didnt taste right, everything too vegan for us.

Our daughter, who is an exchange student in Utrecht this semester, had heard about this place. All three of us ate lamb. It was very delicious and tasteful. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very pecaful and nice. Would love to go back.

Went here with friends, buoyed up by the great reviews and I have to say it was pretty awful. The menu is in Dutch, as it should be, but it would have been nice if the staff had explained the menu given their English is...excellent. It’s also an odd balance and there is a preponderance of non-meat dishes, one fish and one meat dish. In essence, this isn’t Syrian food really, it’s a sort of unsuccessful hybrid where flavour has been sacrificed. Starters were bland, lacked flavour and the flatbread was served cold straight from the fridge. Try dipping cold, flaccid bread into a bland dip and your mood is somewhat set for the rest of the meal. The main arrived and there was no smell from it at all. The lamb was nicely cooked, but it hadn’t been rendered so it was too fatty. It came in a bowl with beans, tinned tomatoes and bulgar wheat, but none of it tasted of anything alas. Where are the spices that Syrian food is famous for? Where are the flavours? There isn’t even salt or pepper on the table so you can’t even season it yourself. Alas there is also the service to comment upon. It’s perfectly pleasant but one of the waiters didn’t understand the menu ingredients, didn’t tell us what the dish of day was and didn’t attempt to explain the menu to us. All in all not great. Two starters, two mains and two beers came to €55 which I don’t think was good value at all. All in all, disappointing and not recommended.More

We had an excellent dinner and were helped by great people. This initiative helps Syrian refugees to get work experience and a job. The combination of great food and this initiative makes for a great night out.

Very well welcomed, fresh and tasty food. Ask whatever you want; they will make anything they can to help you enjoy your time. A nice little experience to spice the weekly routine !

Good food, great people, nice interior. So, what else do you need for a good evening? We will DEFINITELY go back. They offer for starter as well as for main course, one vegan, one vegatarian, one meat and one fish option. I had the fish...for starter (makreel) and main (dorade).... was superb. Just go there, but make sure you book in advance.More

Very nice restaurant, perfect location, very tasty food and friendly staff. The food is a mix of Syrian and european food. Not too spicy but very tasty. Perfect location for dinner (or lunch) with friends or for work dinner. The 3 course menu has a...large of choice (meat, fish or vegetarian) and for a very affordable price!More
