Years after our first visit, we visited again. The meatballs were still great and another highlight was the bread with herbal butter. Luna is a must visit in Amsterdam!

Best place for a steak, Customer service is attentive and very welcoming. Me and my partner come here everytime we are in Amsterdam! Such a great spot.

This was terrible experience, food quality is very bad, meat was not cooked correctly, wine was so bad , I don’t advise eating in this place, supported by one person

The worst dinner I ever had. The meat quality is terrible, lowest grade of beef, and they sneak up charges on you without telling you it’s extra charge. Service is poor.

Had a late lunch with my family of 4 including teenagers. We picked the restaurant randomly, as we often do while strolling thru a city. The target was a steakhouse. It could not have been a better choice. We experienced a restoring lunch served with...tasty food wonderfully prepared and served by a charming and attentive gentleman. I must say we were all gladly impressed by this fantastic "one-man" show displayed by the owner from greeting us, taking the order, preparing the meal, serving and follow up till preparing the check out. All of this done brilliantly while also serving others. Kudos for La Luna in Amsterdam. We will positively remember this lunch for a long time.More

Do not be fooled by the exterior, this is the best steak I’ve ever had. Every restaurant on the street was busy except for this one and I can’t find a reason as to why, it was amazing. The gentleman who runs the place is...an absolute legend and a genius with a grill, be sure to try the homemade chimichurri sauce as it is divine. Go here, it is the best.More

Small and cozy restaurant. The place was quite packed and still there was only one waiter. He managed somehow without having us waiting for too long. We ordered the guacamole with nachos as starter and got one small plate with 10-15 nachos and one small...bowl of not-home made guacamole. We also ordered garlic king prawns, which meant king prawns with alioli on a side. In addition they served us three king prawns for a party of four! How greedy is that? The portion of French fries as side dish for the meat were big enough, but the vegetables and mushrooms were ridiculously small. The dessert were ok sized but nothing exceptional. Visiting Amsterdam from Denmark, Came with my girlfriend, found this lovely little spot, the service was superb and the steaks just as impressive! If you want a good steak in Amsterdam, La Luna is the place to come!

We visited as drop in customers. Two friends. Have been there a couple of times before, and have had good experience. This time a gentlemen was there all by himself, working the tables, cooking and serving. We could see him working in the kitchen, running...back and forth to get things done as quick as he could. But not once did he wash his hands between handling raw meat, picking ice cubes by hand and dropping them into the glasses, or handing out Menüs, and touching everything you can imagine you have to doing all this tasks. Upon serving our meat, timely delayed after the sides had been served, he actually dropped one of the meat servings on to the floor, picked it up and served it anyway … The meat was not prepared to ordered spec, and all in all we ended up eating about 1/2, but confronted the gentleman upon leaving, we didn’t have to pay. A nice gesture! But we both regret we ate anything at all as we both stayed in the hotel room the next 13 hours with a bad stomach !More
